Again, a lot of good points here, so I’ll only address the one with which I have a serious issue.
This is, frankly, an insult to all the dads/husbands who “do the right thing” - care for their wives throughout the pregnancy, work hard to support their families, also get up in the middle of the night to take care of their children when they cry/are sick/et c.
My wife and I have a son. When he was inside her, he was still our son, not her “developing cellular mass” or whatever it’s in vogue to call babies these days that makes them sound like a disease so we can feel better about aborting them (never even a remote consideration for us, by the by). When he gets sick or cranky, he’s still our son. Does she bear most of the child-rearing duties? Yes, because we both agreed that it would be best for her to stay home and raise him, since my job is better paying and her job would basically cover us paying someone else to raise him. If she was bring home the bigger paycheck, it’d be me at home with him.
Do some men treat women terribly and abandon their children? Yes. Are there millions of other men who support their wives throughout pregnancy and help raise their children? Yes.
The notion that fathers not only have no say whatsoever in the fate of their children, but, as you imply, shouldn’t even be able to discuss it because men “can’t get pregnant” is, quite simply, abhorrent.
