People probably assume I’m some radical-anti feminist/borderline misogynist…however I really can’t see how circumcision is sooo bad, or how women are to blame for circumcision. It was God’s commandment.

I’ll be honest I’m circumcised and I don’t miss a thing.

  1. Why does a woman get to hide behind a screen when she accuses a man of Rape? Where is the right to face one’s accusers?
I don’t believe that this is permitted in the US except in cases where the victims are children,

Normally journalists withhold the name of rape victims, but this is a courtesy, no laws enforce this to my knowledge.

  1. Why do male nurses claim discrimination as a male nurse when they are continually thought of as movers of furniture and hospital beds? Or to get something that is high above a woman’s reach?
Do you have evidence of this…especially when hospitals hire orderlies and janitorial staff that do reach the high boxes, (I guess by using a ladder) and move the beds.

The NICU that cared for my son had a male nurse that frequently cared for my son during the night shift. He cared for my son and for other babies. He wasn’t moving beds etc. In fact he had to stay in the NICU. He’s be abandoning the patients if he left to go move something. 🤷

LOL! Again it is interesting to see that discussing Men’s rights that the knee jerk reaction is that we are blaming women! How amusing.

Yes. It** was** God’s commandment. Not anymore. Try and look up the stats for medical reasons for circumscision. Quite flakey really.

It should be blatantly obvious that psychological trauma is certainly within the realms of possibility.

Why is this still continuing? This issue **needs **to be addressed.

The exception of course, for the Jewish population that still have religious regulations concerning it.

Nimzovik,

If I may ask, are you married? Or perhaps have a gf/fiance? Do you have any daughters?

Again, a lot of good points here, so I’ll only address the one with which I have a serious issue.

This is, frankly, an insult to all the dads/husbands who “do the right thing” - care for their wives throughout the pregnancy, work hard to support their families, also get up in the middle of the night to take care of their children when they cry/are sick/et c.

My wife and I have a son. When he was inside her, he was still our son, not her “developing cellular mass” or whatever it’s in vogue to call babies these days that makes them sound like a disease so we can feel better about aborting them (never even a remote consideration for us, by the by). When he gets sick or cranky, he’s still our son. Does she bear most of the child-rearing duties? Yes, because we both agreed that it would be best for her to stay home and raise him, since my job is better paying and her job would basically cover us paying someone else to raise him. If she was bring home the bigger paycheck, it’d be me at home with him.

Do some men treat women terribly and abandon their children? Yes. Are there millions of other men who support their wives throughout pregnancy and help raise their children? Yes.

The notion that fathers not only have no say whatsoever in the fate of their children, but, as you imply, shouldn’t even be able to discuss it because men “can’t get pregnant” is, quite simply, abhorrent.
Quite right! Are you not amazed how the* primary* pervasive attitude toward men is one of worthless abusers, and viewed as negligent of assisting in child care? How we have no right to our own children? Is this not astounding? I loved my child and changed her diapers continuously. I query myself and am wondering - why do I even have to feel the need to defend myself as a care giver as well? Why do I have to educate women in this regard? It is because of the pervasive ‘Culture of Discrimination’ that has been perpetuated -not by women, so much as by** Feminists** methinks.

Yes. See the web sites I mentioned above.

Indeed I do. Married as well. I am the son of a woman, husband of a woman, father of a woman and friend to* many* women. I have no sisters tho- Does** that** mean I am now unqualified to speak concerning women? 😉 Because I have no sister?😃

I just could never imagine someone who has a wife and a daughter saying some of the things you’ve been saying. Now I don’t have to try to “imagine” it anymore.

You would like to see women get drafted? Great…

The way this society is going, I’m not surprised.
I know, right? My husband would shoot himself before seeing me get drafted. I thought that was how men, by nature, are supposed to feel. 🤷

Not that I would want my son to be drafted either, but my little daughters… 😦

I think the point is moot since we have a completely voluntary military, and not even men get drafted. 🤷
Men got drafted in WWII. Let’s just hope the same doesn’t happen when (not if) WWIII is here.

If I had a husband who got drafted, I would honestly WANT to go in his place and keep him safe at home. But I must say this is the first time I’ve ever seen a man actually complain because women don’t get drafted. 🤷

Men were drafted until very recently. The Vietnam War had the draft. We haven’t done it anymore, even currently with Iraq and Afganistan.

Yeah, my grandfather in law got drafted for Vietnam. Pretty scary stuff.

Absolutely not. I do not want to see women get drafted. However! It this not where Feminism is taking us? The answer is a resounding yes. How can it be avoided? The women need to get on board wll in attacking this issue methinks. Yes? Where are they?

Yet, should **not **men be *appreciated *for this service? For enduring this - ahem… inequality? Should they be recompensed accordingly? Why not? There is room for discussion here, methinks.

Feminism needs to be stopped dead in it’s tracks in these issues. However I do not see that happeneing. Do ***you? ***

Let us wake up men!

The point is feminist are demanding equality why don’t they demand it in all areas. I would hope you would feel the same way about your husband (i.e. that he were not forced to go to war). According to some sociologist there isn’t inherent nature based on sex/gender.

True, but men between 18 and 26 are still required to register (and update their status) with Selective Service incase the draft were restarted. There are no such requirements for women.

When a large war breaks out. Believe me! There** will** be a draft! Women will be drafted. Our Catholic Children will be raised by the Godless State. The likes of Sebelius, no doubt.
