New York Times and CNN re-cycles the same bogus story on Russian influence on Trump election - but still provides no proof…

Didn’t Donald Trump say that she should be prosecuted? So wouldn’t the consistent thing be to see to Flynn’s prosecution, or was he a campaign donor?
There has to be an actual crime commited to be prosecuted.

Can they do that? I mean, was the tapping legal or not?
If they are in fact tapping private citizens phones then yes it’s illegal. As the NY Times article says: “The FBI has closely examined at least three other people close to Mr. Trump, although it is unclear if their calls were intercepted.” Unclear? If they weren’t intercepted from “eavesdropping” then the other logical explanation is that they were illegally tapped.

If they are spying on Russian officials then well that’s called “routine eavesdropping”, but strange that they are specifically targeting phone calls between Trump aides or supporters and Russian officials. The DOJ needs to give the order on the eavesdropping.

And of course it’s illegal to leak.

It’s amazing transcripts were leaked on Flynn, but Trey Gowdy and others were never able to receive any from the WH to the Benghazi consulate…

Exactly! That is what an investigation is for, like happened to Hillary Clinton. If nothing illegal happened or is provable, then there is no investigation, again like Hillary Clinton. I do not think it too much to ask for a little consistency.

Seems like more and more of the things declared “fake news” are turning out to be true. Fortunately, there are GOP senators that are putting country above party and will ensure this gets investigated.

Hillary lied under oath, to the FBI, and there was also plenty of sufficient evidence to bring charges against her for a number of different things, and or to continue investigating her criminal actions. Not to mention her obvious acts of crime committed during her husband’s presidency as well her days back in AK.

Flynn has committed no crime. The only crime committed in this incident has been by the leakers who I’m sure will be investigated and prosecuted as they should be.

No need for proof when you have the court of public opinion.

Hillary lied under oath, to the FBI, …
Flynn has committed no crime…
I see. Since you have your mind made up as to the facts, I will leave you to your opinion.

Realize that other people still look to the rule of law and not the political pundits that proliferate website opinions, some under the heading of news, some as the real news that the news won’t report.

The fact remains, that the FBI did investigate her and found not actionable cause, and that she has not been indicted on any lying. A Christian would give them both the benefit of the doubt, and at the same time be willing to investigate both with the same criteria. Justice is not a partisan concept in theology.

We saw her interview with Chris Wallace. She was lying no matter how you sugar coat it.

I am blown away by the way our country has embraced what passes for news on the internet. The liberal mainstream media at its worst was never as far out in left field from reality as conservative America is today, and people are buying it hook, line and sinker. It is a truly amazing phenomena. Even when absolute fraud is shown, the lies do not die.

I did not sugar coat anything. I only stated facts. If I stated one wrong, which was it? If my facts are true but misleading, then explain and link the lie.

I think you have one of the best ideas to know what is real in this world. If one can find actual statements made, either in source documentation, uncontested cross-partisan media (meaning both political extremes agree), or best yet, in video, then one has the best tool of knowing what is true and false.

You are absolutely wrong! Where have you been when all the laws were being passed by the GOP to eavesdrop on every American citizen? Where were you when Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon was opposing legislation on warrantless surveillance? Americans have already given up their Constitutional rights for convenience. Welcome to 1984!

Everything and I mean everything is being captured! All your phone conversations, all text mgs, even posting in this forum is being recorded, behaviour algorithms are developed can determine where and what you will be doing and who you are contacting within the next 15 minutes.

Amazon and Google have the ability to access your movements, locations, contacts.
Dummy Cell towers that download rootkit malware that can monitor and control your entire cell phone without your permission or knowledge *Stingray
Photo cams at traffic intersections and along freeway that capture your vehicle license and monitor your entire trip

Here are the rights and agreements that you give up and the permissions you give to Google and Facebook for using their apps! Do sheeple even bother to read them and understand them? Americans sold out long ago for convenience. Studies have shown that people just click on these annoying user agreements without bothering to read them.

All this information is sold to third party data brokers who sell that info to whomever, credit bureaus, HR employers, health, medical, life insurance companies etc. So if your wondering why you are denied insurance coverage, or unable to be hired, or your credit rating dips, or denied security clearance, or put on a *watch lists etc.

Check out your cell phone app permissions! Permissions YOU have given to each and every app including Facebook and Google authorizing them to:
read phone status identity
directly call phone numbers, read phone status and identity
read your text messages SMS or MMS

take pictures and videos
*record audio Your conversations or background environment
add or modify your contacts read your contacts * slip in unknown contacts or remove contacts
add or modify calendar events and send email to *guests? without owners knowledge, ‘hello TLA’
read calendar events plus confidential information
read your contact card
approx precise location GPS and network based
modify or delete the contents of your SD card and read the contents of your SD card
add or remove accounts, create accounts and set passwords, find accounts on device
, read Google service configuration
disable your screen lock
full network access, view network connections view WI-Fi connections, change network connectivity, download files without notification, full network access, receive data from internet,
retrieving and record running apps run at startup
control vibration prevent phone from sleeping
interact across users modify system settings
read data, write data
read sync setting toggle sync on and off
read email attachments
control NFC *your laptop
read subscribed feeds, write subscribed feeds
take pictures and videos
read your web bookmarks and history write web bookmarks and history

Heck you can download Spy app from Google Play Store that can spy on any cell phone by sending them a txt msg or placing your phone next to theirs using NFC, Mirror, Bluetooth active on each phone. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone. It’s still running in the background. You can read all their txt msg, listening on conversations, block calls, delete contacts without their permission. Spyware used to monitor your children etc. It is illegal in most states without their permission but their is NO anti malware, virus software that can detect zero day exploits, rootkit activity or apps with elevated permissions.

So yes Flynn who is an intelligent expert would know that everything was being captured on any device he used whether laptop, cell phone, iPad, tablet etc. Everyone is being monitored at all times.

No, I’m not wrong. I know the law. Tapping phone lines of a private citizen when there is no evidence or when they are not suspected of terrorist activities is illegal. That’s why the House Intel is looking into this matter.

What law do you think was passed to eavesdrop on every American citizen under any circumstances?

Senator Ron Wyden was opposing the 2017 Intelligence Authorization Act and certain provisions of that bill, specifically email records with only a National Security Letter.

The issue here is not what Facebook, Google, Amazon or what other Intel organizations are legally or if you want to argue illegally capturing it’s about disclosing specific information.

This is why you should turn your phone off when going to confession.

I think the evidence and facts speak for themselves when it comes to Hillary. No one is looking under the heading of news articles, unless you mean those who think Flynn committed some type of “imaginary” crime. I’m looking to the rule of law and the evidence and facts. Remember as first lady, how Hillary claimed to know nothing about the Travelgate firings then the evidence showed a memo where Hillary ordered the firings herself? And how Independent counsel Richard Ray concluded that Hillary “provided factually false” testimony to the GAO, the Independent Counsel, and Congress? He decided not to prosecute her though. All one has to do too is look at the Companies who lobbied the State Dept when Hillary was SOS, and timeline of when donations flowed into Clinton Foundation when Hillary took action to help that Company – in some instances the donations even came first. Then of course “I didn’t not send any classified emails”…contrary to what the FBI found. This is not the first time Hillary’s crimes went unchecked and un-prosecuted by the long arm of the gov’t. I’m not about to rehash Hillary’s many crimes, and the overwhelming evidence of her crimes, or the corruption of the past administration and DOJ, but Hillary is beyond compare to Flynn.

If you or others want to believe Flynn lied then you can, but he committed no crime. A lie requires deliberate deception and I’m not aware of evidence that Flynn knowingly deceived anyone. He was asked about conversations with the Russian ambassador and did not recall one specific topic. This is fatuous codswallop. And If one want’s to believe when Flynn made general comments about the relationship with Russia improving under President Trump is a some type of “imaginary” crime than I can find you 100 other aides and President elects who are also guilty of some made up offense. If every lawyer and politician in D.C. was fired for mendacity, Washington would be a ghost town.

Maybe though we should compare this though to Hillary’s lies like how on the 2008 campaign trail where she told a story about how she was under sniper fire, and ran for cover when her plane landed in Tulza, Bosnia. Then video evidence showed there was no sniper fire, and in fact Hillary was greeted on a tarmac by a child who read her a poem, or how she blamed Benghazi attacks on an Internet video when she knew that was fable. This is just a highly abbreviated list. Hillary is more than a liar and this is why she wasn’t elected President.

Making false statements is a crime. If he lied to the FBI that constitutes a crime.
Was it a crime when Hillary lied to the FBI? It’s not clear what Flynn said in his FBI interview, but the FBI has already said no crime has been committed.
