In St. Paul, I know a number of Hmong are supporting Trump. So, now, it is starting to be that everyone is.
I guess this is a joke in a way. But it is true that he has favored pro-life causes during his presidency.“In my lifetime, I have never seen a more biblical president than I have seen in Donald Trump.
Well said. If Bachmann or anyone else says that Trump is a “friend of Christians” then fine. But saying he is biblical elevates this gross public sinner to a pedestal he should absolutely not be upon. Remember when he said he has no reason to ask God for forgiveness for anything? That is the opposite of humility. That is the sin of pride, one of the seven deadly sins.Hearsay??? We are referring to his own direct boasts and quotes.
You can like his policies. I myself applaud the concrete pro-life steps his administration has taken. But the man has publicly lived a very immoral life from a Catholic standpoint… and continues to sling vile insults on twitter that all Christians should condemn. This isn’t liberal media we are talking about… these are his own tweets and words.
I don’t understand this obsession with some of his followers to make him out to be a saint. Support his polices? Fine. Applaud his pro-life actions? Great. But the man is a first class creep.
I’m not going to call him a sinner per se (because that isn’t really our place), but I do think he has some serious character flaws, the greatest of which is perhaps his compulsive lying about things that are easily verified. And anyone whose life has been about satisfying any appetite no matter the cost shouldn’t be a role model for anyone.Well said. That’s reassuring, I guess? Isn’t Jimmy Carter more godly and Biblical than President Trump, as he actually taught Sunday school and is a practicing and devout Christian?Bachmann said we may “never see a more Godly, Biblical President” than Trump… so that is for comparison’s sake. She did not say “He is a Godly, Biblical President”.
