I do not like the hate and vitrol that comes from Democrats, Republicans, Tea Party or anyone else. Fortunately, none of these groups are characterized by hate and vitrol and all have their extremists. I do not approve or prejudice attitudes that judge any group by the worst in them. There is more than one way to be a bigot.

Different groups have their hate and vitriol at different times. Now I see more hatred and vitriol coming from the left. I think its perfectly legitimate to point that out. Not all groups are equivalent in how many extremists they have and in the hatred they sprew.

Sorry I wasn’t clear - I mean in addition to my mind being closed to the things you mentioned - abortion, etc. my mind is closed to silly accusations (such as an earlier poster calling the tea partiers vitriolic haters) not backed up with any supporting facts.I’m not sure what you mean.
(I am a conservative).
