Here’s an article explaining why it is important for men to dress up for mass if anyone is interested
To each their own I guess. The Church has no had and fast rules about this, other than requiring modesty, which is usually clearly indicated with pictograms at holy sites in Rome and around Italy.

For working out or manual labor, they’re amazing.

In any other circumstances, absolutely.

Wait, I’ve got a question!

You say that you believe in simplicity. Why do you go out of your way to dress in a more extravagant manner in certain circumstances?

Get DULITH (?) pants and shirts. The let your arms move and cover the behind split.

Just be clean w manners. No crass sayings on shirts. No plumbers cracks.

If you stood before God today… what would HE THINK!

Don’t wear anything you wouldn’t wear when speaking to a priest!

-No skinny jeans (or any tight pants)
-Crop tops are a huge no (apparently it was a thing?)
-Tight shirts must go

Anything else?

These are fine.

Well, the OP was about modesty in general. Not dressing for Mass.

To be honest the only reason I think it is more directed at women is because the sexualization in the fashion industry is more directed to women HOWEVER modesty is for both men and women I agree. Where is the other thread?

Wear what you are most comfortable in as long as it not pajamas.

I never dress in an extravagent manner. I haven’t worn a tie in ages. Most funerals I go to, I’m in choir attire, which is black shirt and black trousers. That said, humans work on more superficial values than God. No attire can hide from Him my sinner’s heart. As I said, the offering pleasing to God is a contrite heart.
