Asking:
Isnt Boston a catholic city?
Ted Kennedy and John Kerry are both purported Catholics and both have a strong affiliation to Boston …does that answer your question?

Boston Globe columnist Eileen McNamara, one of the most consistent anti-Catholic newspaper columnists, wrote a column today on Boston priest Fr. Robert Nee. Nee has recently been making a name for himself as a staunch supporter of same-sex marriage. He was the only Catholic priest to sign a document that notoriously liberal clergy signed declaring their support for same-sex marriage. The other usual suspects from liberal religious traditions signing included clergy from Unitarian Universalist, progressive Congregationists, and Reformed Jewish churches/synagogues. Nee refuses to back down from his position and seems to have an odd notion of truth. A quote from him descibing his support of same-sex marriage: “Every member of the clergy and laity has a right to speak the truth as we know it”. Sorry Fr. Nee, you’re notion of the truth and the real Truth don’t seem to match up too well. It’s time for the exit door for this priest. As for McNamara, she wrote a column about 2 years ago suggesting that she hoped that John Paul II would die soon so that we could get a Pope in the Vatican that would change those “old fashioned” ideas of sex and morals such as the condemnation of abortion, same-sex marriage, and the prohibition of women priests. The column is linked below:
