Clearly you are unable to answer the question - I assumed as much.
I never claimed to have a “copy” of the gay agenda.

You can differentiate the two by reading the bible and educating yourself. I bet you might even be able to google some answers. For example…the bible explains in detail why shellfish won’t damn you.

There, now both of your snarky questions have been answered.🙂

You certainly claimed to know what’s on this supposed gay agenda - share your information and sources or admit that it was simply an ill advised bigoted statement.

And please, I have my bible open right next to me - which passage explains “in detail why shellfish won’t damn you”?

Apparently so…

There is nothing in Cannon Law or the catechism condemning shrimp cocktails. I don’t remember any Encyclicals on the subject. 🤷
Well, there is certainly no text that we know of that would be a higher authority than the Code of Canon Law or the Catechism - too bad about that, eh?

[laugh] Bigoted? I love that word.
What would you accept as a source? I’m asking because I’ve been in this same situation numerous times.

Because eating food doesn’t defile. It goes into the body and then goes into the sewer. Anything that comes from the heart defiles. IIRC

I guess that clear citation has been misplaced along with your information on the gay agenda.

Perhaps a prayer to St. Anthony would help.

So you ignore my question and my response? 😉
Your response failed, and I did not not ignore it.

I apologize for missing your question. What makes yor statement bigoted is that you ascribe a pejorative traight, in the specific case “trying to change truth” to a classification of people, to use your parlance, “gays”, without being able to back that up. You reference a “gay agenda” as if there was some sort of organized approach to life that the homosexuals across the country have met and agreed upon–absurd.

Hold it…wait…I found it!!

THE GAY AGENDA:
  1. Assume complete control of the U.S. Federal, State, and Local Governments, as well as all other national governments,
  2. destroy all healthy marriages,
  3. replace all school counselors in grades K-12 with agents of Colombian and Jamaican drug cartels,
  4. bulldoze all houses of worship,
  5. secure total control of the Internet and all mass media, and
  6. be fabulous

Right from a gay website.

You missed brunch.

But I accept that this is as close as it comes.

**I apologize for missing your question. What makes yor statement bigoted is that you **ascribe a pejorative traight, in the specific case “trying to change truth” to a classification of people, to use your parlance, “gays”, without being able to back that up

I wasn’t asking why it was bigoted. I laughed because I find the word funny. It’s a word used by bullies hoping to shame their opponent. 😃 It doesn’t work on me.

. **You reference a “gay agenda” as if there was some sort of organized approach to life that the homosexuals across the country have met and agreed upon–absurd. **

and I’m asking what would you accept as a source. I know that no matter what source I give it will be dismissed by you.

You make no further mention about shellfish is that because you are surprised I could actually find a passage that mentions “it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person” Or did you think because it doesn’t actually say “shellfish” that you made some type of point?

There’s a difference between the two issues, abortion and so called “gay marriage”. Both of those horses are out of the barn and are never going back. In my opinion the Supreme Court opinion allowing abortion on demand will never be reversed and so called “gay marriage” is here to stay. What pro-life people are trying to do is to close abortion mills and find alternatives for woman seeking abortions. We’re trying to save lives. As for so called “gay marriage” it will be the law of the land because in a few years it will be accepted in every state, the homosexual mafia will see to that. As there are fewer and fewer hold-outs they will call for boycotts of the hold-out states and pound them into submission. Look what happened to Arizona in 1991 when they were the last hold-out on the MLK holiday. It didn’t take long for them to change their minds. The Church will still teach that it is wrong, but no one will be talking about it, in my opinion.
Many years after the Supreme Court did the wrong thing regarding abortion, it has again done the wrong thing regarding what is called gay marriage. Many will still be talking about the redefinition of marriage. Some believe the “noise” will die down because laws were passed or overturned. The Church will continue to proclaim the truth. And the laity are part of the Body of Christ.

Peace,
Ed

I hadn’t heard that - but then again I’m not aware of any central source of “gay thoughts” on any topic.

I’m not sure if I’ve heard the the thought expressed by “gays” but I’ve heard these prohibitions equated with biblical prohibitions against eating shellfish, shaving ones beard, and whatnot.

Even if it’s prohibited in the bible, I have trouble accepting the idea that anyone is damned for shrimp cocktail.
I could provide a list of all the gay/ LGBT organizations if you’d like. Then there is the Advocate, a gay /LGBT publication that is certainly part of the network.

Ed

A source for a gay agenda? I’m open to consider any manner of document or web citation from an organization of consequence – if you have one that demonstrates that the gays are out to change catholic truths let’s see it.

As for being called out not working - I’m not sure what effect you thought was intended beyond the assertion.

And you misquote Mathew 15:20.

Thank you, Ed. I accept that sources of gay thought exist - just not one that has produced a consensus on any particular agenda, and certainly not one that has identified changing catholic truths as a principal goal

I said one of their agendas was to twist the bible. Stop trying to twist what I said.

I’m not even sure what that is referring to?

I didn’t quote Mathew 15:20 and you just ignored the bulk of my response. At this point I can see you’re not really interested in a discussion, are you?
