Mortal Sin - Sin One Time to Condemnation?

Let us go along with one of your passages…

Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. (Galatians 5:4 KJV)

OR

You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. (Galatians 5:4 NAS95)

Let us go over here…John 15

"Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. (John 15:2 NAS95)

There is an outward association that you have not grasped yet…an association that is not at all in line with – being a sheep, being in Christ, being accepted in the beloved…BORN AGAIN…a child of God…one of the adotped…dead to the law…

I always like to show you that you fail in your interpretation when you use these passages…

For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame. (Hebrews 6:4-6 NAS95)

We see them in line with…

"Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God. "Those beside the road are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, so that they will not believe and be saved. "Those on the rocky soil are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no firm root; they believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away. "The seed which fell among the thorns, these are the ones who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with worries and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to maturity. "But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance. (Luke 8:11-15 NAS95)

And with John 15:2…those who bear no fruit…CAN THAT FAITH SAVE THEM??

What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works?** Can that faith save him?** (James 2:14 NAS95)

Do you wish to call the faith that James evaluates JUSTIFIYING FAITH?

He says it is dead…demonic, useless, fruitless…CAN THAT FAITH SAVE HIM? You say it is enough to justify him but then they are plucked out of Christ…if he is not justified how can he be IN CHRIST. It is mere outward association.

But if we continue in Hebrews 6…

For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God; **but if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed, and it ends up being burned. **(Hebrews 6:7-8 NAS95)

Sound like James 2? Dead faith…counterfeit faith…

But – he continues…

But, beloved, we are convinced of better things concerning you, and things that accompany salvation, though we are speaking in this way. (Hebrews 6:9 NAS95)

Read the context! Before and after.

For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES. Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews 10:26-29 NAS95)

I have already told you!

No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. (1 John 3:6 NAS95)

Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; ***the one who does evil has not seen God. ***(3 John 1:11 NAS95)

Who is John speaking of here??? Non-elect never-saved people who were tares and bad fish that got caught in the dragnet…

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet cast into the sea, and gathering fish of every kind; and when it was filled, they drew it up on the beach; and they sat down and gathered the good fish into containers, but the bad they threw away. "So it will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:47-50 NAS95)

In 2 Peter we see False Teahcers being discussed…and, at the end, we see this…

For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them. It has happened to them according to the true proverb, “A DOG RETURNS TO ITS OWN VOMIT,” and, “A sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire.” (2 Peter 2:20-22 NAS95)

BUT…

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world–our faith. (1 John 5:4 NAS95)

These remind me of something Jesus said…

"When the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and not finding any, it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ "And when it comes, it finds it swept and put in order. “Then it goes and takes along seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first.” (Luke 11:24-26 NAS95)

No Holy Spirit takes residence…the moral turn-over-a-leaf change means nothing and goes back to something worse (but you would assume they were saved). Mere outward association…tares…bad fish (Matthew 13).

But what do we read of false teachers?

They never saw God…we see that clearly in 1 John.

They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us. (1 John 2:19 NAS95)

Warnings in scripture are the means by which God attains to an end – the salvation of the elect.

You must be a sheep to believe and to follow Christ…

"But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. (John 10:26 NAS95)

And be in Christ!

You say that other men can take those in Christ out of His hand and the Father’s hand…BUT…

and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. (John 10:28-29 NAS95)

You say those in Christ can come into condemnation…those that have passed from death to life…God does not…

"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. (John 5:24 NAS95)

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1 NAS95)

Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; (Romans 8:33 NAS95)

The people you speak of cannot be sheep - cannot be in Christ - cannot be justified. Please stop using your buzz words to your advantage and look at the camel!

What are you doing?

There is plenty of challenge on the previous page.
