Religious Jews would not have a problem at all living under Muslim rule.

Only secular Jews would find it unbearable.

The Covenant that the Almighty made with the Children of Israel was with the religious among them who gratefully accepted His conditions, NOT with the secular ones who reject the very notion of turning Israel into a “kingdom of priests and an holy nation” as in Exodus 19:6.
Really? How many religious Jews are living the life of Riley in Saudi Arabia today? If Jews ever believe that they will be better off under muslim rule, than I think we’d be too stupid to self govern and we would deserve what we get.

Why do you spend so much time here, Hamba2han, telling people of other religions what their scriptures mean?
I use these forums in much the same way a butcher would use a sharpening stone to sharpen his knife.

For the most part, seeing the responses to my arguments does indeed serve to strenghten my own faith.

I think just like any other radical muslims, you live by fueling your hate. Hate motivates you to live and die for your faith.

From Wikipedia:

Upon taking Jerusalem, Umar demonstrated the utmost respect for members of the other faiths living in the city. For the first time in 500 years since their expulsion from the Holy Land, Jews were allowed to practice their religion freely and live in the vicinity of Jerusalem. **According to the Encyclopaedia Judaica**, seventy Jewish families took up residence in the city. Umar also agreed to several pacts, called the Covenant of Omar, with the local Christian population, determining their rights and obligations under Muslim rule.

Does the ‘Encyclopaedia Judaica’ acknowledge the truth of history which was written by “radical Muslims”?
I could not find the above in the Encyclopedia Judaical. Could you assist me in my search for its location? I did find the Covenant of Omar and here is a part you left out:
However, so that they would be encouraged to convert to Islam, they were to be made “uncomfortable” in a variety of ways, known as the Covenant of Omar (“till they pay the tribute readily, offered on the back of their hands, in a state of humiliation” sura 9:29)). These included special additional taxes (jiziya poll tax and haradj produce tax), the wearing of distinctive yellow clothes and prohibition of riding horses or wearing swords, etc. They were to always hold a position inferior to the Moslem, could never be in a position of commanding a Moslem and were to be generally scorned.

The same thing that dzheremi said.

Makes sense. The page I was quoting was a Jewish source, quoting the same Jewish source that ricko read.

One out of one Jewish sources agree: The pact of Omar is not all that great! 😉

Here is a G_d-fearing Jew who does not mind living under Muslim rule:

I would be proud to have him as a neighbour.

This is not a thread to stir up any hatred, but a truth to ask those that what would you do if you could choose to fight on each side? Which would you choose? Would all Christians choose Jews?
Seriously, if we were to go to a full blown war, which side would you be on?
I struggle with the knowledge that Jews, Christians and Muslems worship and love God. I won’t answer your question because, in the end, God’s Will will be done and it is God’s Will that I hope to follow.

I really don’t know why we have to hate one another.

Now you understand why people like me steer well clear of all organised religion of every form.

All of these people, without exception, will declare their love of God from the rooftops, and yet - look at what’s going on around us.

It’s crazy dude.

This ONLY way to have lasting peace in the region is to return to the past i.e. the time when the Holy Land was ruled and administered by Muslims who strictly adhered to the true teachings of Islam and peaceful Jews can take comfort in the actions of one of the greatest Muslims in history:

After being banished by the Romans for hundreds of years, the Jews were invited to return to Jerusalem during the time of Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), the 2nd Caliph of Islam.

According to the Encyclopaedia Judaica, seventy Jewish families took up residence in the city. Umar also agreed to several pacts, called the Covenant of Omar, with the local Christian population, determining their rights and obligations under Muslim rule.

Therefore, this clearly shows that Muslim administrators who wish to faithfully adhere to the true teachings of Islam are obligated to take great care of peaceful and practicing Jews in the Holy Land.
I suggest return to 980 BC during the Golden Age of King Solomon. He was admired by Muslims, Jews and Chrsitians alike at one time or the other. He was bettter administrator that during the era of Muslim conquerors. 😃

Your sordid analogy seems very Islamic…butcher…sharpened knife…I cringed when i read this. The horrors of seeing the process of the beheading of Americans by your people is already gory and your post depicts the common instinct of muslims I came to dislike.

I can only imagine what you as a muslim will do next when the ‘knife is already sharpened’.

You should have posted a more pleasing similarity of your intentions of staying in CAF. The world at present is realizing this kind of statements, even if it’s meant as an idiomatic expression, as a stereotype of islamic mindset.

Where does God tell the Muslims that every jew must leave Israel or that Israel must be taken by Muslims.

If this is what muslims believe then I have to conclude that they believe they are morally obligated to destroy my people no matter what.
Here:-

First: ordered by Allah because you turned out the Palestinians from their claimed land:
(Quran 2:191):
And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.

Second: following Muhammed claimed prophecy:
Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 177:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.

(E) (A)

Third: Muhammed ordered his followers to stay in Jerusalem so that their descendants keep going to the sacred mosque.

I suppose you’re referring to the current situation between Israel and its Arab neighbor states?
The answer is: Israel, 100%. Israel is an outpost of civilization, a beacon of light in an area almost completely devoured by darkness, despite its faults (which no society is without, mind you…)

Lebanon is “darkness”? Egypt is “darkness”? I don’t understand…

Let’s just wait when US pull out all the incentives given to Egypt to coexist peacefully with Israel. Egypt plays a big role before and will always side with its islamic neighbors. I hope I’m wrong.

By the way did we hear the Lebanese government condemning Hezbollah? As far as I know Hezbollah is defending Lebanon from the “evil of Israel”.

Muslim: Why do Christians support Israel?

Christian: Because this is what our religion teaches us.

Muslim: But this is not taught in the Bible, in fact, it is the opposite of what the Bible teaches.

Christian: We don’t care, we support Israel because it is the right thing to do.

Muslim: How do you know whether or not it is the ‘right’ thing to do if you are not referring to the Bible for moral guidance?

Christian: Gee whizz, I don’t know… Why do Muslims insist on asking these kind of funny questions?.. Christians support Israel because it is the right thing to do, that’s all there is to it.

Muslim: Could it be that that the real reason why Christians support Israel is because the Zionists are anti-Islam?

Christian: Oh, man… you are one mixed-up dude, do you know that?
