Muslims in heaven

I’m still not sure what part of that quote was untrue. Mohammed married a 9 year old; I believe that qualifies him as a pedophile. . .
 
God is all that matters, not what others think about other religions, the truth about God is fulfilling, universal, available and applicable to all.

The Truth is the Holy Trinity, not Alah.

Most of you are assiduously avoiding my question, so I’ll try repeating it:

Does it give any of you pause when you consider that all those many other believers in the world are just as convinced as you are that they are in possession of the Truth? If not, why not?
 
In an arranged marriage, children, or even infants, are married. The married children often live apart with their respective families until well after puberty. Some parents arrange a marriage at conception so the child is kept pure.

I feel others in bad odor can criticize Christianity, Jesus, Mary and the Saints too. We would equate it with being ignorant, insensitive, and with a hate “phobia” or “ism.” It is the mark of bias ways of thinking, feeling, and willing.

As Christians we should act in a more caring way.

Testing other religions to make our religion look superior

Pretending to honor God through lip service only, not loving your neighbor

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.” (Matthew 23:27)

Complaining about other’s behavior when yours is even worse.

“So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.” (Matthew 23:28)

Doing everything for show, while really being unrighteous

This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. (1 John 3:10)

It is of utmost importance that we catholics learn to reach out in love to everyone
 
I think there is a major difference between telling apart the wrong from right and mixing the wrong with right under a false slogan of loving every one.

And from your above post, I cannot see any link between the Bible quotes and your statements in bold. :confused:

Aisha, the girl in question, was married to Muhammad when seven and then moved into Muhammad’s house at the age of 9. She “took her dolls with her,” according to the Hadith (Book 008, Number 3311). He bathed with her and fondled her in the pot (Volume 1, Book 6, Number 298).

You were discarding the allegations out of hand, though, calling them lies without knowing what they’re based in. These charges come right from the Hadith.

I would have no problem with it. Wouldn’t they have to go to Purgatory before going to heaven?

I imagine that unless we live like saints, most of us who reach Heaven will have Purgatory first.

You’re thinking of Limbo. Catholics still believe in Purgatory.

Heaven is complete unity with God. Sin is partial separation from God. Hell is complete separation from God. All sin, as a partial separation from God’s will, is a step on a twisted road that leads to complete separation. No one can sustain a state of partial sinfulness and partial righteousness. Everyone will either pursue the sinfulness or the righteousness, and the two are mutually exclusive.

Therefore of course Muslims and Buddhists will be “cleaned up” before they reach heaven. Since heaven is complete unity with God, they’ll have to reject all within themselves that is in disunity with him, or else they can’t be completely unified. You cannot be in complete unity while being in partial disunity. It’s a logical contradiction. All of us must be completely “cleaned up” before we can possibly be in heaven. That’s why sanctification on Earth and in Purgatory is such a rich blessing :).
 
One has to think that this is heading in a direction of one journey many paths. But this is contrary to the gospel. Jesus said he was the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the father but through him. He left no doubt. He also says in another place. he who rejects me rejects the one who sent me and is condemned already. He said in the Gospel, he that believes in me, not those who believe I existed. Even satan himself knows that Jesus exists. It takes more than that. Some calls Jesus just a prophet, well we know from old testmaent writings that prophets never saved anyone. It took the only Son of God becoming a man and dying for our sins and making atonement for our sins. This is a central belief of christianity. Therefore I conclude that if it doesnt matter what are you are, then why be anything, just plead invincible ignorance and hope for the best.
 
Christ is all compassionate, all tolerable.

I recall that He said obey the spirit of the law, not the letter of the law.
Laws and rules are made by man, the Spirit is made by God.

I must be missing something in my life because I have not been appointed by God to speak for Him.

Dear Joe,

I think that Jesus was very intollerant of a lot things!
I also am sure He did not say the letter of the law did not matter.
Man did not write the law, God gave us the Law.

It might be useful to think about this question: Is an ideal human parent tolerant of EVERYTHING his child does?
 
Thank you, we should follow the spirit of the law and not make the Bible a law book to throw at people we don’t like.
