A timely reminder from the Qur’an:
Al-Qur’an, 003.065-069
O People of the Scripture! Why will ye argue about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed till after him? Have ye then no sense?
Lo! ye are those who argue about that whereof ye have some knowledge: Why then argue ye concerning that whereof ye have no knowledge? Allah knoweth. Ye know not.
Abraham was not a Jew, nor yet a Christian; but he was an upright man who had surrendered (to Allah), and he was not of the idolaters.
Lo! those of mankind who have the best claim to Abraham are those who followed him, and this Prophet and those who believe (with him); and Allah is the Protecting Guardian of the believers.
A party of the People of the Scripture long to make you go astray; and they make none to go astray except themselves, but they perceive not.

I’m still stuck here - things are bothering me with Hambas 3:65 and I want to further go with it…
Chapter 3 - starting from #59
59 Lo! the likeness of Jesus with Allah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, then He said unto him: Be! and he is.
60 (This is) the truth from thy Lord (O Muhammad), so be not thou of those who waver
61 And whoso disputeth with thee concerning him, after the knowledge which hath come unto thee, say (unto him): Come! We will summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, then we will pray humbly (to our Lord) and (solemnly) invoke the curse of Allah upon those who lie.
62 Lo! This verily is the true narrative. There is no Allah save Allah, and lo! Allah, He verily is, is the Mighty, the Wise.
63 And if they turn away, then lo! Allah is Aware of (who are) the corrupters.
64 Say: O People of the Scripture! Come to an agreement between us and you:
that we shall worship none but Allah,
and that we shall ascribe no partner unto Him, and that none of us shall take others for lords beside Allah. And if they turn away, then say: Bear witness that we are they who have surrendered (unto Him).
65 O People of the Scripture! Why will ye argue about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed till after him? Have ye then no sense?
66 Lo! ye are those who argue about that whereof ye have some knowledge: Why then argue ye concerning that whereof ye have no knowledge? Allah knoweth. Ye know not.
67 Abraham was not a Jew, nor yet a Christian; but he was an upright man who had surrendered (to Allah), and he was not of the idolaters.
68 Lo!
those of mankind who have the best claim to Abraham are those who followed him, **and this Prophet **and those who believe (with him); and Allah is the Protecting Guardian of the believers.
69 A party of the People of the Scripture long to make you go astray; and they make none to go astray except themselves, but they perceive not.
70 O People of the Scripture! Why disbelieve ye in the revelations of Allah, when ye (yourselves) bear witness (to their truth)?
Tafsir:
This discourse is particularly addressed to the Christians and invites them to accept Islam. It clears Jesus and his mother not only from the stigma maliciously set upon them by the Jews, but also refutes the erroneous Christian creed of the Divinity of Jesus which had been formulated because of his miraculous birth.
[65] O people. of the Book, why do you argue with us about Abraham (as to whether he was a Jew or a Christian? You know that) the Torah and the Gospel were sent down long after him. Why do you not, then, understand even this? You have had enough arguments.
[66-68] You have had enough arguments about things of which you had some knowledge: why should you now argue about that also of which you know nothing at all? Allah knows, but you know nothing.
Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian,
but he was a Muslim, sound in the Faith, and
he was not of those who set up partners with Allah. Surely
only those people who follow Abraham are entitled to claim a relationship with Him.
Now this Prophet and the Believers are better entitled to this relationship: Allah is the Protector of only those who are Believers.
End of Tafsir…
OK, all of this is clear to me. mohamad claimed that he was of Abrahams/Ismael’s ancestry.
So it makes sence when mohamad wrote the koran verses he had to align himself with Abraham stating that he was a muslim and “(Abraham) didn’t have partners with allah” - meaning forget the trinity part where Jesus comes in.
Also it states that those who follow Abraham are entitiled to this relationship with allah and mohamad and allah will only protect those who follow mohamad/allah & Abraham…
I hope I’m making sense… it’s all hog-wash!
Forget the Trinity
Abraham was a muslim
allah will only protect you if you believe in mohamad
No wonder all of the muslims have the same answer.
