Glad to hear that your daughter is moving around and eating - if only just a little of both …

Prayers will continue for you all…

God’s peace to you and a speedy recovery for your little girl.

Thanks all. :crying:

She can walk around (slowly) on her own but her tummy hurts a lot and she can only eat a few bites of food at a time. Any more than that and she pukes it back up. Digestion is not turned on yet. She complains a lot about how her tummy hurts. I’ve had surgeries myself for broken bones so I can understand the pain, but gosh, as a dad I just want to kiss the boo-boo and make it better!

She’ll stay in the hospital until she can take reasonable amounts of food in at the top end and send it out at the bottom end without trouble. Until then we’re all " :crying: "
If the nurse’s haven’t done this already, ask about rolling a towel up tightly, fold it in half and tape it up. When moving around and getting up, she can press this against the staples/stitches to relieve the muscle strain. This helped me alot when I first started to get around after surgery. Continued prayers, Tim

I will continue to be praying for your daughter and your family.

Thanks for the update, Scott. Will be continuing to keep Tessa in prayer as she recovers…

Hi Scott,

How is your precious daughter going? I hope things are going smoothly, and are going forwards and not backwards.

Keeping you all in my prayers.

We start chemotherapy on Monday.
Mon - Fri, 7:30 am until sometime after lunch.
Repeat in a month.
This sucks. :crying:

I will storm heaven with prayers for you and your precious daughter and the rest of your family.

May God give you all peace and comfort and take away all your anxieties - which must be so huge with what is happening in your life…

I have not been in your shoes, so i truly do not know what you are feeling or going through, but i pray for you Scottm…

She has a month to get her strength back after the week is up. That is good. My first week was pretty easy. I ate alot of apples and drank alot of water to flush my kidneys. The apples soaked up the water and where easy on the stomach, as well as they tasted fine while other foods tasted bad from the chemo. With you and her in spirit and prayers, Tim

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Please say the following prayer right now to release 1,000 souls from purgatory (Approval and Recommendation signed by M. Cardinal Pahiarca, Lisbon, Portugal March 4, 1936.): Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy Souls in Purgatory. Amen

Dear Lord, please bless Scottm and family
Keep them happy, healthy, strong and safe
Please heal the sick, injured and afflicted among them
And keep the healthy ones healthy.

We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen. :signofcross:

:blessyou:

Hey Scott,
I joined soon after you did. Your daughter is still in my prayers. Your bud from RB. Let’s take back the Church.

Apples? Okay. I’ll remember that. She likes apples.

Thanks all.
