Now it is quite a different thing to champion your behavior and try to make it an acceptable lifestyle. This is the issue. The proposition of Catholicism is a hard one. It is a journey to the cross. A journey toward perferction.

Put simply, Gays and lesbians have no place at all in the church, nor the gospel. So down with gays–unless they repent. Otherwise, out they go forever.

Remeber, a lot of people rejoiced when (DRUM ROLL) Randy Shilts died of AIDS, the secret weapon against gays, as said by one of the picketers. In fact, they had signs that read, “Randy Shilts Is In Hell,” and “The Gay Quilt Is A Lie,” and so forth.

Ummm, direct experience has told me some people should not have children. It is actually the one reason I am not a father. Safety first. Not for me, but for any kids I might have.

Though i am of the opinion now I probably would be a good father. But it’s a bit late at 40.

In the beggining I was a single cell which actived when a cascade of calcium ions flowed across me.

Now I am 40, composed of billions of cells, with memories and ideas.

A city starts with a few buildings.

A Church can start with people and become something else.

Emergent properties, complexity theory, history, tradition and so on make things different.

In the beggining…what about what happened next?

If you look at it from a simply biological point of view I can see why you believe what you do. Catholics believe the soul is what is most important. Bodily suffering is part of the deal/trial. The soul only occupies the mortal body until death.

Why do you delight in damning souls to hell when you are charged with the responsibility of saving said souls???

Are you proud about shirking your duty to God?
Do you honestly believe He is pleased with your heart?
For those to whom much has been given, much is expected.

God would look into your heart and that of the homosexual and welcome the homosexual into His kingdom, for the homosexual did not know how much his actions pained our Lord, but you know God relies on you to bring souls to Him on earth and you turned away.

Before that single cell existed, your soul existed.
You are human, therefore you have a soul.
Animals do not.
That soul is the image and likeness of God which draws you back to Him.
There is nothing humanly possible you can do to remove your soul while you live.
You can neglect it, however, and it will suffer.
But it will not die.
And thanks to Jesus Christ, He, we (His followers), all the angels and the communion of Saints will do everything we possibly can to save your soul despite your efforts to keep it from God.

Yes, God knew you before you were.

One correction to a good post. Animals do have souls. Souls are what animates the living. The distinction being animal souls are not immortal.

All the heart does is pump blood. And besides, I once was molested years ago between the late 60’s and the early 70’s, by a male, no less–a DREADFUL moment to say the least; it took me years after that to recover.😦 Also, in the schools I went to, some of the teachers there were gay, and they were mean…
