For dinner last night we had, muscles, a little bit of lobster each(mum only bought two lobster tails and we divided it up between 7 people), and some beef stew.

It was store bought.

I’ve tasted homemade before and these came close to homemade. Bought them at a local Rite-Aid.

Mixed grille…we’re in a heat wave here, and like to cook ahead for a few days…got out the smoker and the charcoal grill, and went nuts…smoked everything over applewood for an hour, then finished on charcoal…

A small sirloin steak, hot Italian sausage, and some cheese dogs; Barb’s potato salad, pan-fried zucchini, fresh wheat rolls, and a very good IPA…pecan tassies for dessert.

Anticipating a heat wave which will come tomorrow and linger for several days.

Cooked for today and for the next several days.

Cooked macaroni and cheese and added scallions and cherry tomatoes after cooking.

Cooked some pulled pork in the slow cooker.

Had that with some ice water and cubed watermelon.

Chicken and white bean chili. Leftover Key lime cheesecake I made for my son’s birthday.

Birthday cheesecake instead of birthday cake.

Nice

I remember having a birthday tiramisu once.

Tiramisu is tasty but not as easy as it looks to make. Well, not difficult, just many steps.

It’s easy if someone else makes it for you. 😊

I have made it and while it has lots of steps and takes patience it’s not difficult to make.

I like to bake and my specialties are chocolate pecan pie, icebox cake, and devil’s food cake.

Some salmon and bottled water to drink. I’m trying to cut down on desserts, gaining some unwanted pounds.
