Went to a new Mexican restaurant with my sister and brother-in-law…
Chips and salsa, carnitas chipotle, rice, refried beans, and a Dos Equis Ambar draft. The chipotle sauce alone was worth the 20-minute drive.
Had a strange dinner, but I enjoyed it. Potato salad, some cold spicy couscous salad, a half piece of hot focaccia bread with spicy hummus dip, and wine.
Shrimp, red and green bell peppers, and onions all simmered in tomato sauce served over freshly made polenta. Delicious store bought Boston cream pie for dessert!
Chicken burger topped with sautéed mushrooms in Barbeque sauce and cheddar cheese, zucchini and onion fritters, and Mac and cheese (Bob Evans brand!) A Dos Equis beer, and a final slice of Boston cream pie.
