I grew up on lamb ,chops in the pan,leg or shoulder slow roasted withvegetables in the woodstove ,served with gravy hot or mint sauce…or cold with tomato ketchup 🙂 All home raised, but now lamb is so expensive here i dont buy it very often, and it doesnt taste as nice from the supermarket and butchers.
i think from growing up on a sheep farm and eating lamb most days back then ive never noticed a gamey flavour 🤔

My dad grew up similarly. He lived on a farm in Italy and had lamb frequently. My aunt prepared a very tasty lamb with parsley and garlic then roasted in a wood burning stove.

It was really good.

I like lamb, but have not eaten any in ages. I should correct that sometime.

I love lamb, but can only eat it when we go out. My wife won’t eat it. 😞

Bacon and egg wraps with tater tots and honey mustard washed down with a cold glass of milk.

A nice salad, barbecued St. Louis ribs, potato salad, pan-fried zucchini, homemade wheat roll, and a good Canadian brew.

Stopped at Subway on the way home from the Vigil Mass…
Herbs and cheese foot-long: bacon, pepperjack cheese, onions, spinach, and chipotle sauce…added tomato at home. Salt-and-vinegar kettle chips and a good Canadian brew topped it off.
