Mama had fish for breakfast while I had Ensure, a taste of fish and Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
Sounds like you’re both finally feeling better…that’s great…you’re still in my prayers…
I think Mama’s doing better. Mine is up and down. I take advantage of the “up” periods to eat solid food. If I don’t eat it early, it won’t digest.

Keep praying. We both need them. I really am hoping I’ll be well enough to have my throat surgery during Lent so that the food restrictions won’t be so hard on me. (You tend not to mind liquids when that’s all you can have for 3 weeks.)

Curious…do you take probiotics? I’ve had IBS for almost 30 years, and diverticulosis for at least 20…probiotics have been a Godsend…

Thinking back, I had GERD until I started taking probiotics. Probiotics seemed to clear everything up.

I’ve begun taking probiotics. We’ll see how they do.

Because my stomach is pushing up into my throat, I doubt probiotics will help my GERD until I have my surgery. But I’m hoping they’ll help me feel better.

Unfortunately, I don’t think they’d help you with GERD, Lily, for the reason you mentioned, but they do boost the immune system as well.

I’m having a chocolate frappacino and a cheese danish for lunch. Terrible, I know.

Bread and Jam?

(Yeah, well. I realize I need to branch out.)

Food was Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Beverage: sparkling water. Also had some flu meds. So all my bases are covered.

I had a club sandwich from Penn Station Subs with a few fries and a diet Mt Dew.

For dinner I had some Arby’s Classic Roast Beef sandwiches, and some of their potato cakes, with some ice water to drink.

Date night …hit the Mexican restaurant again…

Chips and salsa/pico de gallo, chiles relleno with chicken and ranchero sauce, Mexican rice, and charro beans, washed down with a tall Dos Equis Ambar.

Rice crackers and eggplant dip…but I need to still find that ‘something’ to chew on …must be something sugary…🤔
