I’m thinking he didn’t hear what he wanted to hear. He’s not been back since his first post on the 9th.
Praying he makes the right decision.

I agree with you 110% Liza, now his girlfriend is here telling us that we are judging her, obviously they both have no clue.
Before I met my wife I had this SAME exact situation. My girlfriend was Pentecostal. Her mother asked me this, point blank. “Will you give up your religion to marry my daughter?”
I was like “What the sam !?!”
I turned it around on her and I asked “You are asking if I would turn my back on God to marry a person?” “Oh No!!!”
I was the first to reply to you boyfriend and I stand by what I said. “Don’t even go there!”
Can you two can still get married and have a happy family? Sure you can!! However asking your boyfriend to give up his faith or even suggesting that he go “church shopping”, if that is what you did, is a disgrace to your possible future husband. Why would you even ask or think about suggesting the he give up something that is or SHOULD be the core of his life?
What concerns me is you both want something to suit the two of you that “Oh you can be any religion you want as long as you believe in God” Right?
WRONG!!!
Sorry that we may sound arrogant here, but the problem here is you don’t know the truth, you are following the ideals of a man by the name of Martin Luther.
Do you even know who Martin Luther is? Do you even know the history of Christianity at all?
Why don’t you take some time to read up on who Martin Luther is and see where your beliefs came from.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Luther
A man in the 1540’s did not care for the Catholic Bible, what does he do, he takes out parts he does not like and changes words around to suit “HIMSELF”
What happens since that time? Over 40,000 different Protestant religions are spawned. All claiming they are the truth. Yet the Catholic church is the same church that Christ Started in 33 A.D. and is the same church he handed to St. Peter, our 1st pope!
Why don’t you read that link of Martin Luther, that is exactly where protestant religions came from. Now years later people such as yourself are lost, VERY, VERY, lost and think religion is about how the person feels, what is known as Sola Scriptura, or “Faith alone” a word that Martin Luther himself added to the bible and has caused MASS confusion ever since.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sola_scriptura
I would suggest you watch this to understand The Reformation and the spawn of protestant religions and where your thinking about religion came from.
