I’m a little embarrassed to say so, but I miss my weekly posting too often myself, and I have not had my membership terminated. I think it is a matter of trust, not automated enforcement. What I do is set up my yahoo email automated calendar so I’m reminded every week. Even then I miss it too often… which is not good since I agreed to do it (but not under pain of sin…)

Please say a prayer from a friend who I am disconnected from that the Lord will reveal to him the errors in racist ideologies and that the Lord will deliver him from those. Thank you.

Praying for the intentions of your friend & for you as well.

Lets us pray that our leaders will defend the sanctity of human life, especially the rights of the unborn. Give us, O God, faithful Christian political leaders who are not afraid to be the voice of the unborn. Save this country from moral degeneration. Send now your Spirit over all the earth and have mercy on us poor wretched sinners. Jesus, I trust in You. Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us! Precious Blood of Jesus, save us! Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I love you, save souls! AMEN!
Amen, God is always with us

3 Day Miracle Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit, you who make me see everything
and show me the way to reach my ideal.
You who give me the divine gift to forgive
and forget the wrong that is done to me
and you who are in all instances of my life with me.
I, in this short dialogue,
want to thank you for everything,
and confirm once more that I never want
to be separated from you no matter
how great the material desires may be,
I want to be with you and my loved ones in your perpetual glory.
Amen

You must pray this prayer 3 consecutive days without asking your wish. After the 3rd day, your wish will be granted no matter how difficult it may be. Promise to publish this dialogue as your favor has been granted.

Please beware of these types of prayers as they are superstitious. You may want to refresh yourself on the Church’s stance on this by looking it up in the Catechism. I would encourage you and anyone else reading this to pray from your heart, both your own spontaneous prayer and really good established prayers, and to avoid anything superstitious. Please refrain from posting these as well.

God bless you.

I truly believe in novenas they have always worked for me and i will continue to do so. I have been brought up a catholic for 48 years and novenas have always been a big part of our faith. I am a devout catholic and always pray from my heart

Dear “sueoni”

Yes, sincere prayer is answered! And I too pray novenas.

The response was only to correct that we do not have to tell people to publish after their prayer is answered (as I have seen many people do so in newspapers.)

Also, it can be misleading to tell others that on the third day their wish will be granted.

I believe you mean well, but feel the need to point out that it is those directives that are not needed, and can confuse some people.

Thank you for clearing up the confusion. I, too, have prayed novenas and believe in their efficacy. I do not pray the types that state when one’s prayer will be answered or that tell me that I “must” publish them. In most instances I choose a novena, preferably ones with a short daily meditation, then add my own prayers as well. I also don’t subscribe to the idea that one has to pray a novena nine days before a feast or that it’s too late, or that there can be no interruption in the novena. I’ve chosen novenas to a saint that aren’t near that saint’s feast day, or had to interrupt it for a day and then pick up where I left off. My prayers were still answered.

Hope this helps anyone with concerns on this subject. God bless.

What you wrote is very true. Easy does it! 🙂

I have heard a person think that because he missed a day, due to certain circumstances, after being into the 33 day consecration to Mary, he would have to start all over again. The Lord is not into frustrating us. We do our best to discipline ourselves, and keep on going.

I am not sure if you are still in need of Prayer Warriors, but I am happy to fulfill the request. I really enjoy keeping those in need in my prayers and posting in response.

Yes, me too. I tried to follow the directions above, but . . . I don’t know. Maybe I did it wrong. Or maybe the original post is very old and untended now. I guess we can just keep posting our prayer responses anyways. 🙂

Yes, I agree…I will keep praying for those in need and hopefully we’ll be Prayer Warriors too someday 😉

Yes the OP instructions are pretty old. Here are some newer instructions:
40.png
Robintrinket:
On the top of the screen where it says, “Home, Search, Groups, Members, Profile,” etc., click on Profile. Then on the left-hand side of the screen you will see a panel that says, “Your Control Panel.” On this panel, click on “Group Memberships,” NOT “Social Groups.” (They are both underneath where it says “Networking”.) From there it will show you Group Memberships you can join, Greeter, Prayer Warrior, etc. and click on the button to request to join the Prayer Warriors.
After that it can take a few weeks (maybe more) to get Prayer Warrior under your name (that’s the only confirmation you’ll get). You can pray and post in Prayer Intentions just as well without being a Prayer Warrior. Being a Prayer Warrior is just a promise to pray once a week, and lets people know that you’ve made that promise. (I think it also lets you post in a special group, but I haven’t done that)

Keep praying! Even if something goes wrong and you don’t become a Prayer Warrior, remember the real point is to PRAY.

Also remember the Prayer Intentions sub-forum. There you can have a whole thread giving lots of answers to just one prayer. Each thread is given a name to describe the request. In a way it is nicer for prayers than using just this one NEEDED: Prayer Warriiors! thread.

such an awsome thing to do from your heart for the charity of others, i hope all who apply for being a prayer warrior are able to be received so that they may give prayers, amen
