Thank You, O Lord, for the miracles You are working in this child’s life. Thank You for the doctors whom You have gifted with healing hands, for the nurses who care for him, for the saint who is donating bone marrow. Bless all these people and especially the child, his parents, and family. Let them never lose sight of Your Loving Hand in all their joys and sorrows. Amen.

My nephew goes in to begin the bone marrow transplant on the tenth of November. Pray, Pray, Pray! There are so many things that could go wrong, he will have no immune system for nearly a month. We are all scared and excited at the same time. If this works he will know longer have soars all over his little body. He will be able to eat normal foods and wear shoes. He will no longer require being wrapped like a little mummy all the time. It takes over an hour and a half just to wrap him each day. What a blessing it will be! He will be able to play in the dirt and he won’t be in constant pain. Please pray he makes it through this procedure!

Merciful and loving God, hear the prayers of the faithful as they rise to You like the smoke of incense from the Altar. Take compassion upon this precious child and his family, granting him an opportunity to heal. Graciously send doctors, nurses and technicians who reflect Your love to the world. Defend him from the evils of this world and from all sickness and infection. Grant that his body is healed, causing increasing praise to be made of Your Name. May our prayers be joined with those of the Angels and Saints to form an endless petition for Heavenly graces and healing of this child. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Touch this boy as you touched the lepers. Heal him of this illness so that he may give you glory. Wrap your loving arms around his parents during this time of uncertainty and send them your peace.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be,
World without end.
Amen

Praying for you, your family and your nephew.
O St. Gerard, who like the Savior, loved children so tenderly and by your prayers freed many from disease and even from death; graciously look down upon the distressed parents, and nephew of dkoinzan, who plead with thee for their child’s health if such be the Will of God. Present their promise to God to bring up the child a good Christian and to guard it by word and example against the fatal leprosy of sin. This favor we implore thee, O sainted Brother, through the tender love with which Jesus and Mary blessed thy own innocent childhood.
Amen
Pray for us, O Great Saint Gerard!
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ

He goes in tomorrow! Please pray that all goes well. They kill off all his bone marrow and on the 13th he will receive bone marrow from his sister along with stem cells from cord blood. Both children will be under for around six hours so pray all goes well. The whole family will be together for the month of November. We are all hopeful but very aware that this is in experimental stages and there could be complications.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Loving and Eternal God, look with immeasurable compassion upon this family, shedding Your protective care upon the young boy and his sister. Grant that the doctors, nurses and technicians exhibit the greatest of competence in their duties, and that they reflect Your love to the world around them. Strengthen the entire family and grant them great trust in You. Graciously join our prayers with those of the Angels and Saints to form an unending petition for mercy and healing upon them. I ask this through Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

*Lord, strengthen both children during this procedure. Please let all go well so this little boy may be able to live a normal life and grow to praise You for Your goodness to him. Send Your Holy Spirit upon the doctors and all medical personnel, and I ask that Your Blessed Mother comfort the parents and other family members. Amen. *

Praying for this little boy as well his sister that all goes well and the transplant is a success.
Also praying that the family gets strength as they go through this.

I pray for this child. I am a mother of two, and I can only imagine the pain this family is enduring. But there is light, there is hope. I pray that this innocent child may be accepted as part of this treatment. May he be healed and may the LORD bless this family infinitely.

Blessings…

All is going pretty well. They have had a bit of a schedule change. If they were to start chemo. now, he would be at a critical time in his treatment during Thanksgiving. The staff is bare bones during that time, so they decided to put off the chemo. for a while. They currently are running all the required tests and involved in informational meetings. They had a bit of a bump. The EKG tech. put the sticky chest tabs on his skin after being informed nothing should be taped to him. Two days of cocoa butter loosened them up finally. Everyone seems to be in good spirits and they are thankful for the chance to have a normal Thanksgiving. Keep praying and thank you all bunches.

Keeping him and his family in prayer.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen
