You forgot the mic drop bit at the end.Where is your evidence that people just go eat it willy nilly? You and the other person seem to be assuming that if most people go to communion rather than sit in the pew, “most people” must be both in a state of mortal sin and also not be thinking at all about the fact that they are receiving Jesus.
Unless you have personally interviewed everyone going up to Communion, you have no idea about either point, and unless you are a priest in the confessional, you have no idea if a person’s sins are mortal or not.
This whole argument of you and the other poster is coming from a viewpoint that the practicing Catholics at Mass going to Communion are mostly a bunch of terrible sinners who shouldn’t be allowed to be there. You apparently do not include yourself in this group. Can you not see the assumptions and judgments you are making?
Yet in the same breath you want more people to go to Mass. Why would you want that if people are as immoral as the pictures you paint? I should think you’d be clapping your hands that everybody is staying away so Jesus can just die for the dozen or so people who in your view are holy enough to merit Him.
