It was narrated by al-Tabaraani in al-Awsat, al-Haakim, al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab al-Eemaan and others that Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Love the Arabs for three reasons, because I am an Arab, the Qur’aan is Arabic and the speech of the people of Paradise is Arabic.”

wow that’s crazy:eek: but then it also begs the question if that is true then why are there so many other languages in the world? I wonder what is the Muslim response to that because if Arabic is so perfect than why isn’t everybody speaking it here on earth?

Since the Quran/Koran/Q’ran is not from God, it really doesn’t matter what language it is in.

Galatians Chapter 1

8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach (to you) a gospel other than the one that we preached to you, let that one be accursed!
9 As we have said before, and now I say again, if anyone preaches to you a gospel other than the one that you received, let that one be accursed!

“accursed” is also sometimes interpreted/translated as “damned”

The Quran/Koran/Q’ran was allegedly brought by an Angel. The warning of St. Paul is clear. The angel was not from God and the Quran/Koran/Q’ran is not scripture. Those that preach it are cursed. The language is not important.

its the sanitized view of of Islam. The one that tries to downplay the violence within the Koran.
Yeah, what they are trying to do is tell us something different than what they tell the muslims. Basically a form of censorship. They have tried to censor us via the UN but it isn’t working. Well, the Europeans seem to be falling for it but we haven’t - yet.

it is like what they are teaching in our schools now about mohammed and islam. I wrote a letter to my congress people, governor and legislature. I hope others do the same for what the muslims are doing to our kids and young adults (the MSA in the colleges).

here is a doc about what is happening in California - you better believe it is happening in a lot of places. And the MSA is in so many Universities and their anti-semitism, rewritten history/islam/koran, and other falsehoods are alive and well.

islam’s infiltration into our schools

Basically a rewritten koran will do the same as the rewritten history only it will be for everyone else so the muslims won’t have to answer to the real koran’s nastiness, contradictions and stronger (violent) surahs that abrogated the weaker (more peaceful) surahs.

Actually, it doesn’t matter what language it is in, but it should be as correct as possible translations of it. And right now there are 5 accepted translations - Pickthall, Yusuf-ali, shakir and alhilali-khan (I can never remember the 5th one).

What I did was downloaded them from the USC website. I also downloaded the various translations of the hadith too (that took awhile - whew!). I also got the censored hadiths before they censored them out.

Censorship is not good because that only means we are ignorant of them and they (the muslims) are not.

it appears that one their tactics for reinterpreting the Koran that Muslims use on here is to attack people calling them liars and accuse them of misinterpreting the Koran instead of addressing the actions of their prophet and/or his religion. I noticed that they attack Vicki and dolphinlove on a regular basis and now they are coming after me simply because I brought up the issue in my own thread about the fact that Mohammed turned his back on a blind man and asked them to justify his actions and they viciously attacked me for it. And all I did was ask a simple question. And sister Amy went so far as to use an Arabic phrase without translating jt for everyone else to understand I wonder as this is one of their reinterpretation of the Koran tactics as well?

… if Arabic is so perfect than why isn’t everybody speaking it here on earth?
This is easy: because the world is still divided into the House of Islam and the House of War. Just think, if they took over, no more “Press two for Spanish”.

Hang in there! It isn’t always easy to stand up for what is right. Sometimes it feels really lonely. And when our own attack that makes it doubly hard.

We are not always on the same thread and just know that doing what is right might save someone else from turning into a revert to sin, oh er I mean islam.

Just be careful to not make a presonal attack and back your stuff up if it is ‘out there’. That isn’t hard to do when concerning mohammed and islamic’s history. When you really want to make sure something is read - the print it because the muslims are not reading the links unless it is some fairy tale about islam.

And even when it makes you sick in your stomach to read their links - read them, or at least peruse them quickly, because you want to know the garbage they are spreading. And yes, most times I can barely make it past the first line without heaving, but then what I do is go over it fast.

Folks, the reason I brought it up before was not to detract but to add.

While it may be true (it’s hard to know for sure until more information is available) that there’s a new “cleaned up” Koran for Westerners, the root of the entire problem is that it is not scripture, it didn’t come from God, no matter what edition, or language or “interpretation”.

There may be good reasons for this new version, or there may be nefarious ones, but there is no reason to take any version seriously, not by anyone, because the ultimate source is not God.

oh I’m not worried about it. I respect the believes of my Muslim friends and respect mine I just don’t talk about religion with them and I try my best on here not to be directly disrespectful towards Mohammed because at the end of the day I want to be able to stand before Jesus and say I did everything in my power to help refugees Muslim or otherwise. that’s why I come on here to discuss Islam because it’s just not appropriate for me to do it with the refugees or the people that I’m working with I would rather spend my time loving these neighbors and to do that I have to respect their religious beliefs. At the end of the day I believe it is more important to help these people that it is to argue about Islam. Thanks for the moral support though!👍

You are in a better position to show them by example too.

Usually when I really want to vent I have another couple of websites I go to. They let me bash. they have rules too, but not as strict as CAF.

I think I have it right this time.

The American Textbook Council - Islam and the Textbooks.

Apparently there is a difference between a curled quote "] and a flat quote.
Thanks for the websites, I forgot to say that in my previous note. I have already sent out my emails to my ‘leaders’ and this would have been a nice addition. But, I might have to keep sending more notes and I can always add this information.

I am thinking about writing to the UC system regents because they are just letting the muslims go wild - hate, anti-semitism, etc. Now, they can bash the USA - that is free speech, but when they start their hate against a group of people - they need to stop that junk. And they make signs, yell, and attack Jews - so it is very much in everyone’s faces their hatred. If we did that to them, or the blacks, or anyone - you better believe that we would be plastered all over the news for bigotry and racism.

It has happened at UCLA, UCBerkeley and especially UCIrvine (more than once).

This is NOT freespeech it is just pure hatred and the usual muslim stuff. Sorry, but it is. We see that happening in muslim countries and also in Europe and the UK when they riot. We saw it in the recent riots over Israel defending itself. Oh well, I could go on - I am just sick and tired of it and just need to do my part in pushing back islam. they need to keep it at home and stop offending us with it!

R-not ~

I submit that those that say this is “free speech” are just hiding behind that excuse. I think they’re afraid. Maybe some are simply misguided, but some are afraid of the blowback that might ensue by coming down on this form of hate speech.
