We have one of the highest numbers of immigrants, but I haven’t seen data that parses out documented from undocumented. If they’re in the latter category, nobody “let” them in.I see no contradiction or problem there.
I feel like I’m in a Cathy Newman interview. Where on earth did I say this? I’m simply sharing data showing that undocumented immigration doesn’t cause higher rates of property or violent crime.Somehow you don’t seem to mind when an innocent citizen or legal immigrant is murdered, raped, or otherwise assaulted by someone who should not be in the country.
Where the research is concerned, the jury is still out on the economic impact of undocumented immigrants and suggests that they may actually benefit (more than harm) the economy. For example: Illegal immigration a benefit to Texas economy, new study finds Of course, I side with the Church in advocating for a just path to immigration so that their working conditions and salaries improve.so don’t try to tell me the taxpayer is not ever dragged into this.
