Michael Bloomberg has been a lifelong Democrat who switched party affiliations to ride Guilliani’s coattails. Guilliani was term limited and he whoever he endorsed was going to be the next mayor of NYC. Bloomberg switch for the win and then lef the GOP when it didn’t matter anymore.

No. He couldn’t hide his true colors anymore. Particularly when he was term limited and then had the law changes so he could be “Mayor for Life”. Only Democrats and liberals pull that “I deserve to be executive forever” nonsense.

A man becomes a Republican in order to get the outgoing mayor’s endorsement, then switches when he becomes term limited and has the laws changed so he can keep being mayor. Sounds like political opportunism to me. The GOP of New York was stupid to have believed him.

Bloomberg is a lifelong Democrat, so there is no surprise here for people who follow this stuff closely.
 
Maybe Bloomberg’s endorsement is unnecessary. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz has confirmed that Obama will win Florida:

“I’m sure that they’re going to go swimming in the kitchen sink at this point. I mean, what they can’t get away from is that we have been executing our ground game we built for almost two years now. Actually, in some states, we never left, like North Carolina, like Florida, where our organization has been there since the beginning of the last campaign. And we’ve been executing, we’ve run circles around the Republicans when it comes to early vote. … We’ve eclipsed them in early voting, we’ve run circles around them in the ground game. So, let them keep swimming in the kitchen sink, and we’re going to keep turning out voters. … President Obama is going to win Florida. I am confident.”

The same Wasserman-Schultz who very well may loose her own seat to Karen Harrington, whom she ran against in 2010. Many in her district are growing thin of DWS over the top rhetoric and drama.

I was just there for two weeks. Based on my count of Romney lawn signs, I’d say its much higher in southwest Florida.

Ya, you can fool the bluehairs once, not twice. Most of them voted for Obama in 08 because he was “nice”. He isn’t seen that way anymore. (my mom lived in Sarasota, I know these things)

I do not jest when I say Romney lawn signs outdid Obama signs by a 15:1 advantage. My wife and I were looking for ‘For Sale" signs on Seminole property and we constantly made the error of mistaking Romney signs for real estate sale signs. They are all over peoples’ lawns Everywhere!
