OldCatholicGuy: The lady already said she has refused to sell guns to people whose emotional and mental state she questioned. The answer is already answered.
It never ceases to amaze me how liberals place “tolerance” over the safety of a woman. I think it was michael savage who said “liberalism is a mental disorder”. Now, I might not go quite that far, but how else to describe people for whom worshipping at the altar of political correctness and belief in a false “tolerance” takes precedence over the safety of a woman business owner.Hopefully action is taken to fine this woman or force her to change her discriminatory business practices.
The odds may be long that she’d ever sell a gun to a terrorist who then uses it against Americans, but at the same time, she has declared she has refused to sell guns to people whose mental state she questioned. As she said, she does have a responsibility. It never ceases to amaze me how liberals place “tolerance” over the safety of a woman. So it’s reasonable to assume all Muslims have questionable mental and or emotional states? Her sign said “No Muslims,” it didn’t say “No Muslims with mental or emotional issues.”OldCatholicGuy: The lady already said she has refused to sell guns to people whose emotional and mental state she questioned. If the concern was safety of women, her sign would read “No Men” since the vast majority of murders and rapes are conducted by men. But, why let facts get in the way of using the good old “those darn liberals” statements. It never ceases to amaze me how liberals place “tolerance” over the safety of a woman. This is an irrelevant distraction. She is not observing someone’s mental state and making a judgement about what she saw. If she were then I would be in favor of granting her all the leeway she wants in making that decision. But no. That is not what she is doing. She is declaring before any observation of the potential client that if someone has been to a mosque, they are not welcome at her place of business. That has nothing to do with safety, because there is no way she can even tell if someone is a Muslim, so her rule is unenforceable, and therefore just a stunt. The odds may be long that she’d ever sell a gun to a terrorist but at the same time, she has declared she has refused to sell guns to people whose mental state she questioned. If you are going to comment on a story, you’d think you would at least learn about the story. Her reasoned response has already been posted I thought. So it’s reasonable to assume all Muslims have questionable mental and or emotional states? Her sign said “No Muslims,” it didn’t say “No Muslims with mental or emotional issues.”
Since you can’t determine by visual assessment, which ones will kill you and which ones will not,* I am going to go with the line of thought that ANY HUMAN BEING who would either knowingly or unknowingly support a “religion” that commands the murder of all people who refuse to submit or convert to that religion, is not someone I want to know or do business with.* I hold adults accountable for the religion they align themselves with.
It makes sense.
If you are going to comment on the story, let’s learn the details, same comment as on OCG’s point. This is an irrelevant distraction. No, she didn’t say this, this is what she says:She is declaring before any observation of the potential client that if someone has been to a mosque, they are not welcome at her place of business.

Another red herring. As I said before, the vast majority of US Muslims do not interpret the Koran that way.So why should she be compelled to do business with someone whose Theocracy and Book commands that anyone who does not submit or convert to their “religion” be murdered?
First- motherjones.com/politics/2012/07/mass-shootings-map?page=2 you don’t even need to read anything, just look at the photos of the murderersPlease cite your facts, Dylan and Kleibold, no. James Holmes? No. Please cite your source and I will look at it. This seems like a very inflammatory broadbrush. It has been shown however that a great number of those committing those crimes are from Democratic families.
Nobody said this. Do you deny that there are Terrorist Muslims that would drop nuclear bombs on America if they had a chance?
It’s clear Radical Terrorist organizations have made no qualms they wish to destroy the USA or conquer it at least, raise the flag of ISIS over the White House. I haven’t heard any white Christian organizations declaring they wish to destroy the US.
As Morgan said, no one says all Muslims are Terrorists but the vast majority of terrorists in the world are Muslims.
Exactly my point. She cannot even tell who is a Muslim and who is not!If you are going to comment on the story, let’s learn the details, same comment as on OCG’s point.

Okay, if you are going to accuse others of irrelevant distractions, using red herrings, there is no reason to debate against, using a mild word, a condescending attitude. The debate here is suppose to be charitable. Good day.Another red herring. As I said before, the vast majority of US Muslims do not interpret the Koran that way.

The oldest terrorist organization in the US would be the self identifying as Christian KKK which has a long history of on and off again wanting to overthrow the government. There are also self-identifying Christian sects within the Aryan Nation, Neo-Nazis, as well as The Order, and the various groups that fall under the label of “Christian Identity.”It’s clear Radical Terrorist organizations have made no qualms they wish to destroy the USA or conquer it at least, raise the flag of ISIS over the White House. It doesn’t list what Church they are going to. Are they practicing Christians? Did they say “Praise be to God” when carrying out their rampages? No.First- motherjones.com/politics/2012/07/mass-shootings-map?page=2 you don’t even need to read anything, just look at the photos of the murderers
Again, Charity, my position has not fallen apart. On charitable grounds I would appeal that your position is lacking a solid foundation. The allegation that she is violating a person’s civil rights has been shown to largely be false. Now a lawsuit would have to prove that and it appears she gets her legal rights from Federal Law, Gun Regulation and the ATF. If you find you have to say “I’m winning”, that’s not very convincing and I would hope a reasoned debate can be had here.Second- “Do you deny that there are Terrorist Muslims that would drop nuclear bombs on America if they had a chance?” That’s a good example of a logical fallacy and it’s usually used by those who know their position is falling apart so they go ahead and start asking such silly questions. But you know what, I’ll go ahead and take pity on your so broad and generalized to have to be answered in only one manner question. Yep, there are terrorist Muslims who would like nothing better than to nuke the US. What exactly does this have to do with a non-nuclear gun range that doesn’t have anything to do with nuclear weapons in Arkansas putting up a “No Muslims” sign and refusing to serve Muslims based solely on their faith?
Apparently claiming another poster is using an “inflammatory broadbrush” doesn’t count as uncharitable behavior.
Shame on you. You should have just used the phrase- “This seems like a very inflammatory broadbrush”.
You are right to raise the “practicing” issue. Actually the biggest group of rampaging murders is probably people with no religion at all. So do you thing our Arkansas lady would be justified in declaring her range off limits to agnostics or atheists? It doesn’t list what Church they are going to. Are they practicing Christians? Did they say “Praise be to God” when carrying out their rampages? No.
Sorry, I quoted the wrong comment to reply to.
