By that comment you are concluding that if you ban assault weapons that would stop the 1% from being killed, which based on the 10 year evidence from the 1994 assault weapons ban, does not show evidence that the ban lowered the homicide rate. You are concluding that the criminal would not use another weapon to kill, and shouldn’t knives be banned, they killed 1000 plus annually. Should cars be banned, they kill 40000 as of 2005Saving human lives (1%) is worthy or isn’t it?
