As for that quote, it’s a horrible thing to say, but remember why she said it. Large families that are poor are struggling to support the family… With christianity being the dominant influence on culture, sex for procreation is pushed. The poorer the family, the larger the family and with more kids, the harder it is to feed them. It’s a devastating circumstance. While Sanger’s intentions of trying to help the poorer families may be noble, the means of doing so is questionable.
These poor children barely have a chance to succeed in the world. We are seeing it still today. So few so-called christians go out and help these lower class families. Instead, they just turn their noses up and judge in disgust.
How about before a women can have sex she gets approval from the govt to see if she is considered wealthy enough for a child or more than 2 then her tubes are tied! That would solve all the problems.
It is not up to you to decided whether a child is ‘worthy’ to brought into this world. That is up to god.
