try to stick to major news outlets.

even if it was true obama doesnt and never does see who sends him money and neither does romney, who takes handouts from china
Romney takes handouts from China? Goodness! Give us the details and a good source for them so we can take a look.

  1. As far as the world is concerned, they all want Obama to win. Very few countries want Romney doing the foreign policy work.
The world wants Obama to win, because they (mistakenly) like a weak USA.
Last time I checked, the Constitution only allows American citizens to vote in our elections.

and how quickly we forget that the other choice was McCain/Palin. Imagine what a mess we would be in. Did you hear McCain the other day in the news? tragic. well past retirement age.
Ad hominem attacks are not allowed here.

Can’t stand McCain, TBH–he couldn’t possibly have been any worse than Obama on the economy and would have been lightyears better in other areas (no Obamacare, no HHS mandate, no pro gay so called marriage, fewer abortions), though.

So, you will ‘entertained’ by the despair of many conservatives and Republicans here if Obama wins? Gee, I had no intention of going to a liberal-heavy site to preside over weeping liberals and Democrats if Romney wins the election. I guess we are different people.
For me it depends on the poster. Some around here command respect and I would never gloat to them in such a scenario.

If Obama wins I will enjoy coming onto CAF to savor SOME poster’s reactions, I must admit.

I will also eat humble pie if Obama doesn’t win. 🙂

Alright, would you please explain how what you’re saying is true.
  1. The GOP wants to repeal Obamacare and let insurance companies deny people with pre-existing conditions. It’s unclear whether Romney will keep parts of his own plan his system he implemented in his own state. We know where Obama stands on health care, but I have no idea where Mitt really stands and what he’ll implement.
  2. That $716 billion statement about medicare isn’t totally true.
    politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2012/oct/03/mitt-romney/romney-says-obama-cut-716-billion-medicare/
  3. How is the GOP trying to secure medicare when they have said many times that they want to make it into a voucher system? If you consider this “medicare” then I don’t think you understand the difference between social programs and business.
  4. As far as the world is concerned, they all want Obama to win. Very few countries want Romney doing the foreign policy work.
I could care less what other countries think of what’s best for America in terms of foreign policy. Our interests are paramount, not theirs.

As for the minutiae of Romney’s domestic plans, let me refer you to his website. I don’t work for the campaign.

What is a major news outlet?

Certainly not Fox, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CNN, etc. Those are government-media outlets, state news outlets. LOL!

I get it though: the article came from WND and therefore must be untrustworthy. Puh-lease!

If there is something factually incorrect with the article, then please point it out to me but don’t engage in this idea that* because it came from WND it therefore is untrustworthy. That type of reasoning is a fallacy, nevermind that some people could argue that WND is not *untrustworthy. There are always two sides to every story. Let the facts speak for themselves.
The information submitted was: “Osama bin Laden, 911 Jihad Way, Abbottabad, CA 91101.”
While the website only has options for U.S. states and zip codes, there is no mechanism in place on Obama’s website to verify the individual is actually located in that state or zip code, or even in the U.S.
The Obama campaign refuses to release the identification of donors who give less than $200
In the case of this donation, the 91101 zip code is real but corresponds to Pasadena, Calif., and not Abbottabad, the Pakistani city in which bin Laden was found holed up in a compound.
For a requested phone number, WND used the White House information line of (202) 456-2121.
The email address used to set up the donation account was osama4obama2012@gmail.com.
After clicking “next,” the website asked for an employer, occupation and a password to set up future donations. WND staff entered the occupation as “deceased terror chief” and the employer as “al-Qaida.”

How would you like it prepared? 😃

I will.

And be depressed for months. 😦
Wow…

I have to say that I find it unsettling that people on a Catholic site are so invested in an election that the outcome will actually cause them emotional distress. I get people who have no faith in God being upset because they have no hope outside this world. Their saviors have to be political because they have nothing else.

We trust in God…not in men.

If Left coast states like Washington and Oregon are toss up states then Obama better start packing.

If Obama loses I will take my lumps. 🙂

The question is; can the other side?
With great pain, my friend. I’m certain I will have at least 2 glasses of The Macallan and my finest cigar to ease the despair. After I go to my parish for spiritual consolation with the Lord, of course. After that, I will speak to my broker about safeguarding my investments in light of another Obama term. I really foresee financial disaster looming on the horizon with the Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight in charge.

Valid point. Just can’t help it though.

Oh, I’m not going to be especially pleased if Romney wins. I can admit that.

In polls that poll more democrats than republicans romney is up in Iowa, New Hampshire, and now Ohio, plus a consistent 5-7% popular vote lead. Republicans will probably have higher turnout than democrats most likely, so I see Romney winning 🙂
