What do they say? Every American or is it every American under 18 are $200,000+ in debt.
Thanks Obama.
Thanks Obama.
Two people I know who voted for Obama, also voted down every tax levy from helping support a 9-1-1 Emergency system, to schools, to parks, and helping the Health Dept. Those who voted for Obama likewise voted against their fellowman having jobs. Real charitable people.
Amen.My big disappointment was Eliziabeth Warren defeating Scott Brown for the Senate.
I’m pleased that the Assisted Suicide Bill lost, but it was close.
Also, I believe now that Obama doesn’t have to worry about re-election over the next four years, he’ll return to his ideological center, which is where he actually is.
I also pray for him as president and ask the God inspire him to lead the nation well.
Maybe now that he doesn’t have to cater to the extreme left of the democratic party, he’ll have another meeting with Cardinal Dolan and give the Cardinal what he asked and expand the exemption of the HHS mandate.
Regardless how we all feel about the election results, we need to pray to God for our president and our nation.
Jim
I’m not leaving (I think its impractical, if not silly). But I understand the sentiment.
A fetus is not part of a woman’s body, it is a separate human being with its own DNA.GOP wants to ban abortion. That is not ok. Personal issues like this are not for the government to decide.
I wonder about that too.He already is a failure. Why we have to suffer another 4 years with him is beyond me. Besides, the next democrat will just will after him. Or he stay president for life. I’m not putting anything passed this guy at this point.
On another note: is it possible that they just made all these numbers up? I mean, his support seemed to all but dry up. He was finishing the campaign out with half empty venues. It really looked bad for him. All of sudden all this support out of nowhere. I mean really, it’s all done on computer now days couldn’t it just all be made up and we would simply have no idea?
That the Assisted Suicide Bill is gaining momentum?Funniest thing I’ve heard all day.
I agree with you. I was just wondering what those who thought the GOP was buying the elections thought. Its a factor always, but no, lack of sound moral-ethical judgement outside oneself bought the election. No different than Kennedy stated, Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.
Once upon a time a Democratic Chant.
God bless you for your optimism, Gary. I’ve lost mine.Just more determined now. The election was very close. The glass is half-full.
You can say that, but you can’t makeup all the Obama-Biden signs I saw in a very red-county. You also can’t forget they bus in millions of uninformed people to vote.I wonder about that too.
Half full of what?Just more determined now. The election was very close. The glass is half-full.
Or just monarchy. Or autocrat. Or despot. Or dictator.Obama WILL make things worse. Obama HAS made things worse. Yet, here we are. Another 4 to go. What makes you think we will all of sudden wake up. Trust me, if America hasn’t seen the light yet it ain’t gonna happen.
I agree with the other guy. One party system here we come.
Cardinal DolanI pray our bishops will begin showing an uncompromising stance against this administration. Be sure and attend your next Stand Up For Religious Freedom rally.
Promises bishops will continue to work to defend life, marriage, religious freedom
Urges President to work for most vulnerable, including unborn, poor, immigrants
Asks for restoration of civility to the public order
Half the country feel this way, heard it this morning, this is how close the election was. 1.5 million in a country of about 300,000,000, whatever it is is the difference.I cried for about an hour this morning. We all are depressed at our house. Even our dogs are moping around a bit.
I am praying that someone will say ‘Oops, sorry we made a mistake, Mitt Romney won.’
:console: :bighanky:
On the lighter side…
My last name sounds/looks a little like Romney
My mother was talking to a tech support person and she said "Alright Mrs. Romney, I…oops, sorry.’ My mom took it as a compliment. LOL!!!![]()

That is a positive suggestion, Seamus. I will give the thought due consideration. At least it’s an opportunity to stand side by side with faithful Catholics who vigorously oppose the HHS mandate (and who likely did so with their votes on November 6th).I pray our bishops will begin showing an uncompromising stance against this administration. Be sure and attend your next Stand Up For Religious Freedom rally.
