What is the best way to buy silver?
Coin shops…you can negotiate prices.

Online.

Apmex is outstanding. Great selection and good prices. That is where I’ve bought all my gold and silver coins.

You give up too easily. America can recover from anything; just look at its history.
Well, we COULD if we mined and sold our own natural resources like oil, natural gas and coal, which WAS Romney’s energy plan…

If we can get a black republican like Herman Cain but more in the middle close to Gary Johnson then i’m sure we’ll be back on track again. 😉

Indeed, compared to many events in our history this, if you accept that it is a negative, is a minor blip on the screen. Compare 1860 and 64, 1936 and 40, 44, the various assassinations, scandals market crashes, natural disasters…

Americans have changed. Americans are accepting Obama’s transformation of America, slowly but surely, as evidenced by the last two elections. I believe Republicans can do little to halt the transformation. Demographics, the changing of America’s populace, will bring in a new America no matter how adaptive the Republicans attempt to become. A more secular and socialist-style American government is coming: free medical care, free college, redistribution of assets, less organized religion, bigger government, green energy trumping all else. Fair share, fair shot, fair everything, you know the mantra. Of course, what is fair will be determined by federal bureaucrats of liberal persuasion. Liberal heaven on Earth is indeed coming to the United States of America.
Interesting article in the National Catholic Register regarding changing societal mores.

I cannot deny any of your posts on demographics, especially with Latinos and single women.

However, look at states like Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan.

Think that maybe ethanol, farm and wind subsidies had something to do with that as opposed to immigration, affirmative action, Section 8 and welfare?

The greater issue **here is the entitlement culture **and trust me, people from all over the world, including within the USA itself, are playing to that incentive every chance they get.

Getting the Latino vote is key, but note that Asian immigration is catching up and we’ve got to somehow show single women that they don’t necessarily need the state to be the father.

Parties evolve. The Republican Party can and will take stock due to the current election. As I mentioned earlier, new leaders such as Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan will transform the Party. I hope the same happens to the Democratic Party despite their win, which was hardly a mandate. They are also in need of change.
There are elements in the republican party that need reform and people such as Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Bobby Jindal, Susana Martinez, Nikki Haley etc are the people to do it

What do you think needs transformation in the democrat party?

Have you been to Western PA lately? Believe me, we are going after everything that is in the ground here.

Case in point, the Repub primary debate where out of complete left field Stephanopoulos ( you know, who used to work for Clinton) asks about the candidates stands on contraception. No one was talking about contraception at that point. The HHS mandate wasn’t made public. Yes I absolutely think that the topic being raised was collusion.
Best look up the definition of “collusion” before making a statement like that. 🙂

On private land, but not on public land.

You’ll learn soon enough, John, that liberalism doesn’t work.

In response, I’ll just borrow the post below. And, I would change the bolded to the Divided States of America.

America will probably only be divided until my generation is dead. Then all the younger people will have been drinking the koolaid and living the life so long they won’t know any different, won’t know the America that used to be, the once great country that is no more.

I don’t think it was very “nice” of the Romney campaign to perpetuate lies that Obama removed the work requirement from welfare or that Jeep was outsourcing jobs to China. These lies were in ads that were endorsed by the candidate - whereas the ads you cite were made by independent third party groups. Plus, they’re funny.
If the Obama Campaign had a shred of decency, they would have denounced those ads…funny? hmmmm…REALLY? We’ve come to the point of seniors telling Romney to (blank) off? Without renouncing from the Campaign? Oh, and not once during the mud slinging fest did the Democrats ever call Romney a LIAR, OR A MURDERER. And Jeep wasn’t outsourcing to China? News to me.

Will I, I’m running out of time by my clock. And conservatism has been such a rousing success?

Check out the Allegheny National Forest. I personally did the archaeological surveys for hundreds of gas wells during my time there. Check the lands held by DCNR in Pennsylvania…same deal, although not as intense as the ANF.

Pa has gone from a net importer of natural gas to one of the largest exporters in just the past five years.

And so it has begun - Our friends own a business that employes male latinos. They came to work today hooting and hollering because they voted for Obama and he is their man. Well. my friend had to lay them off today, because three different jobs from three companies called and canceled the work to be done that would have employed them during the upcoming winter months.

All three companies said the same thing. They were now unwilling to put out the money due to the election results.

The five men were not smiling when they left for home.
