I would guess that Aspergers is the diagnosis of exclusion–that is, other possibilities have to be ruled out first. Even though a person afflicted with Aspergers can be mistaken for a garden-variety twit, not every garden-variety twit has Aspergers.That’s why I asked if he has Aspergers. At 15 and undiagnosed, with doting parents… he might not actually realize he’s being rude. And the symptoms tend to be more pronounced in males than in females.
