It is a huge, huge stretch, however, to suggest that FISA warrant was Trump. Let alone other candidates.
To make get a warrant against Trump, it would have been necessary to convince a judge that Trump was a foerieng agent. Is that what you wish to assert?

Oh, I don’t assert that. That is the assertion of the left, which is bent on showing “collusion” between Trump and Russia. That’s why the taxpayers are getting a lot of their money spent on Mueller, supposedly, though Mueller hasn’t come up with the goods yet. He’ll probably indict somebody else for something else.

But it wouldn’t be necessary to convince a judge that Trump himself was a foreign agent, only that there was a foreign agent who was involved in conversations with him which affects national security.

No we can’t. But at the same time, when government goes after opposing political candidates and, after more than a year there’s nothing to show from it, we ought to be at least suspicious that the whole thing was a political act.
The smelly bit for me was that they had dropped their investigation. Then just after he joined the campaign, the wire tap started again. This is combined with senior officials who had absolutely no involvement in the investigation getting access to the intel, and then leaking bits. The combination of all the links is very suspicious.

I was just wondering if you thought young people today read mystery stories??? I’m not making fun but your last sentence reminded me of myself when I had a good mystery novel in front of me. Good training for what seems to be going on now, with the twists and turns!!! 🤔

So after a day, we know all about the shooter in Las Vegas, but after nearly a year, a whole crew of lawyers can’t seem to find a link to Russia.

FF to 6:30. The timeline shows that the meeting with the Russians had just been set up to give dirt on Hillary but wasn’t held until a couple of days later.

“I am going to give a major speech, on probably Monday of next week and we will be discussing all of the things that have been taking place with the Clintons…”

Sure, Trump had no knowledge of this meeting. /sarcasm

There is an ongoing investigation and we do know that Trump, Jr. attempted to collude someone promising ‘dirt’ on his father’s political opponent from the Russian government. So, you’re statement is just plain wrong.

The surveillance stopped because of lack of evidence
Did you see this part?
And did you miss the part where they restarted the surveillance?

Manafort and Flynn are going to sing like canaries.
If there is anything to sing about, but going back to the surveillance, i.e., if Manafort was wiretapped then anyone he spoke to, including Trump, would have been under surveillance too. He was living at Trump towers, so I hardly think that’s improbable. I believe even James Clapper admitted as much.
Clapper: ‘Conceivable’ Trump was picked up on Manafort wiretap

They are digging as hard as they can to find
anything.
Pathetic!

Now that is intellectually dishonest because we already know that Donald Trump Jr attempted to collude with someone he thought was an agent of the Russian government and we know that the investigation is ongoing.

It is a witch hunt by people who hate Trump and his family. And a very unfair and one sided investigation.

And Ridgerunner wonders why I think that I think it wouldn’t just be wrong, but totally useless for Chuck Schumer to get evidence that could impeach Trump. Because people like you would take what they are told by your right wing media and claim it’s not fair and one-sided. Never mind that Donald Trump Jr. himself released emails that made it clear that he was trying to collude with someone he thought was an agent of the Russian government, even that bit of undisputed evidence can be believed by Trump supporters.

There are a lot of people who just … no other word for it … despise … Donald Trump.

So an experienced politician lost the presidential election.

And the Republicans are desperately trying to give the election back to the Democrats.

There is a 75,000 page tax code, chock full of special interests … and Donald Trump, says, NO! … send in your taxes with a post card.

AND Donald Trump said delete two regulations for every new regulation.

But if we have less regulations, then we won’t need so many bureaucrats.

And people who live on ranches out west won’t need to “balance” state regulators against Army Corps of Engineers regulators against Evironmental Protection Agency regulators.

The whole concept of “the waters of the United States” including little rain water puddles and trivial remote ponds may go away.

OMG, what will happen to the $75,000 per day penalties from bureaucrats, without court interference, against residents???

AND … to make matters “worse” … total employment is INCREASING. More people are going back to work!

Is THAT a good thing???

Miners.

Home builders.

Construction workers.

Factory workers.

Is that a good thing???

The fact is that roughly half of the American population despise their President, whoever he or she is.

Why use this to base your argument?

This really is dodging the Schumer question. If, as I posed, Schumer was offered indisputable evidence that Trump had committed an impeachable offense, it wouldn’t matter what Trump supporters thought about it. Impeachable is impeachable.

And “collude” is too strong a word when all Trump Jr agreed to do was listen to what Meselnitskaya had to offer. And even if she had the dirt on Hillary for, let’s say, the connection between Hillary getting $150,000,000 from Russia and acting in Russia’s favor, it still wouldn’t be “collusion”. And “collusion” isn’t illegal anyway in this context.

Again, you have quoted me as saying something that someone else has said. The first sentence is what 7 Sorrows wrote.

It’s not dodging the question. I’ve already been incredibly clear that I think Schumer would be wrong if he pursued information from a foreign government on a sitting president or if he interacted in any way with that government to hurt his political opponents and that I think it is a violation of the law. So, I didn’t dodge anything, but you keep claiming I did. But you also claimed I was lying, so I am not surprised.

I simply stated, on top of being wrong, it would be stupid because people like 7 Sorrows who are prone to believe the fake news they get from right wing sources would claim that Schumer made it up or it was somehow fake because Chuck Schumer is an evil, left wing New York liberal, and people like her will buy it, hook, line and sinker and repeat on websites like these.

And, almost on queue, you prove my point by saying that Trump Jr did nothing wrong, even though a reasonable reading of his emails suggests that he was meeting with someone who he believed to be an agent of the Russian government and would provide information on his father’s political opponent that was obtained by the Russian government. Thank you.

Half of the American population are being lead to believe they should despise their president by the liberal media. Unfortunately, most don’t bother checking the facts. There is a lot of fake news and many people prefer to be spoon fed the political news than figuring it out for themselves! They don’t realize the untruths
they are being told or the distorted facts given them.

RIght. Because you can’t draw your own conclusions by simply listening to what Trump says. It’s the mean liberal media that makes Trump send out incoherent drivel every morning via Twitter. And then there are the facts that are easy enough to check. Hillary in jail? Nope. Wall? Nope. Obamacare Repeal? Nope.

Yep, very distorted.

Most haven’t given Trump a chance from the day after he was elected. They had their minds made up they were going to despise everything he said or did. The resistance started the day after the election.
And that is the truth.
