I think that not only Ukrainians but also other peoples who saw in Hitler’s army the anti-bolshevik crusaders were deeply mistaken in the German idea of a new Europe.
In fact, the nationalists situationaly and temporarily colaborated with Hitler. Nationalist forces in Eastern Europe dreamed of political independence.
The main thing that similar German-Soviet scenario “divide and conquer” did not authorise again, and that the other nations wouldn’t be as mere appendages and pawns in someone’s big game.

Let’s also remember the injustice of Finland being lumped with the Axis Powers because of its war with Russia over seized territory.

Russia still holds part of Finland. Russia ejected the Finns there, and the nickel mines are there, so I’m sure the Finns will never get it back.

Vyborg — a city built by the Swedes, who had been in its history, Finnish and Russian. The appearance of Vyborg was mainly formed by Finnish architects. There are many videos in YouTube what is the life of the people in Russia not far from Moscow. From what you have seen, you can be terrified.

Yes. And further, Father Simon, a former member of the UGCC and a former vice rector and professor at the Pontifical Oriental Institute has the credentials and the independence which enable him to give an unbiased picture of what has been going on with reference to the UGCC. It is sad to see dvdjs try to smear him with insulting remarks.

I watched the little video that you linked, found Fr SImon’s words highly objectionable, and objected to them. If you want to go into the points of contention, I am happy to do that. If you want to say “he knows better”, then ask @superluigi who will tell you about his favorite logical fallacy. At the same time, that fact that he ought to know better compounds that problem with his talk of “extreme nationalism”.

Ukraine is Pro-Jewish and Pro-Israeli state.
Russia is traditionally, since Soviet times, anti-Jewish and anti-Israeli state.
Russia has ALWAYS been on the side of the Arabs and ALWAYS on the side of the Palestinians.
Russia in the struggle against Zionism is one of the leading countries.
Only in Ukraine there is the term “Judeo Banderas”, and this term has long been used by Ukrainian nationalists of Jewish origin, and in the coat of arms represents a combination of the star of David and the Ukrainian nationalist Trident.
Ukrainian nationalists of Jewish origin (soldiers,journalists, politicians) play a huge role in the fight against Russia.
Many Jewish intellectuals in many countries of the world support Ukraine, and not Putin’s Russia.

When for example German or Italian newspapers talk about the statistics of crimes, they clearly indicate the country of origin. Should people from some East European countries be offended?
This is the reality which is depressing, but this is bitter reality.
Romanians for example insist that it should be distinguished from the Roma-community, when talking about such statistics.
Many Eastern European countries when talking about corruption at the highest level , do not want to be identified with the corruption of their elites, who in spirit are not part of this country.
I agree that we are responsible for our elites, but the problem is that in corruption schemes of large scale you will not find the authentic Ukrainians.

DNR controls only 30 percent of the territory of the Donetsk region, 70 — is controlled by Ukraine.
DNR economy is bad. The plans, which were scheduled in the past year on restoration of the enterprises, did not work. They stay afloat only due to very cheap labour, but there is recourse there.

The aid comes from Russia, and large — to be honest, 90% coverage of the Donetsk city budget at the expense of the Russian extra-budgetary sources. They are, by definition subsidized territory, as it was before, they are completely dependent on assistance.
All information on financial flows and their movement is concentrated in an extremely narrow circle, in the nearest environment of the chief of DNR. All citizens see it there and they cant do nothing. There are too much stealing there.
 
The average pension of 2.5 thousand rubles. The salary of 8 thousand rubles. It’s official.15 thousand rubles is a salary of the soldiers in the army. Benefits are cut. Objectively saved by the fact that DNR is all very cheap, the cost of coal, energy production, and therefore, sufficient housing is available to the public. Many Donetsk residents are now in a state of depression, and feel disappointed, small, worthless, insignificant. What did they fought for and what they received? Sawn areas, depressed towns, destroyed business, is this what they wanted in 2014?
I think they can not create the management model again. On the economy, industry, they could compete with any developed regions/states, and notice- Russia is helping them.
The problem is that those who needed disruption are not interested in prosperity. There is brewing a revolution, otherwise, the Soviet equality in poverty will move to a stage of equality in the extreme and unbearable poverty.
I think that Donetsk is exploding , and a lot bloody than was recently in Lugansk.
I am sure that many residents of the DNR and LNR want to go back to Ukraine(to return to the bosom of a single state) no matter what has happened.

Dude, whole of Ukraine is corrupted failed economy, not just shelled Donbas. Ukraine will be divided between Russia, Poland and maybe some other country, and that is the best solution, it is fake nation produced by Lenin anyway.
 
You talk about the plan-B or plan-C, according to prognoses of some special services, the Russian special services as well, want to ruin our country from inside, but well-armed and military-trained Ukrainian army will refute your predictions.
