Code:They have been accused in the beating death of Joshua Heath Chellew, 36… According to the warrant, the four teenagers are accused of starting a fight with Chellew at a Chevron gas station in the 6200 block of Mableton Parkway near Community Drive at about 1:20 a.m. Sunday. They repeatedly punched and kicked him, according to police.
Code:While attempting to escape, Chellew backed into the center five-lane highway and was pushed to the ground and knocked unconscious, the warrant states.
Code:They then walked away from Chellew, “leaving him helpless,” and he was eventually hit by a car, the warrant states.

The “problem” with young males is that their testosterone and bodies are developed but their impulse control is not. This is a reason more young men are involved in high risk activities, crime, drugs and violence. Apparently the part of the brain that regulates impulse control isn’t developed until the mid 20s.I teach 15 to 18 year olds in high school.

Just when we thought the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin case was over after Zimmerman’s acquittal, the Obama Administration has taken the steps needed to file federal charges, thus sidestepping the well established double jeopardy, against Zimmerman. Unidentified sources within the Administration have confirmed that Obama, and Justice Eric Holder at the Department of Justice have filed charges against Zimmerman for “violating Trayvon Martin’s civil rights”.

What I did read yesterday is that either the family or friends of the family wanted to petition the Federal Gov’t to file civil rights charges against GZ, which of course won’t fly, even if the gov’t agrees to file them.I dont believe this story.
