Its the MSM agenda. Ran by libs that hate America.
Just watched this video on the case: Click here
And read the articles he referenced.
I am appalled and sickened at the so-called journalism that pervades the MSM. Why did they go to such lengths to villify Zimmerman. This was a straw tactic, plain and simple. I really and truly hope the Democrats lose the next presidential election and every election leading up to it, so we can clean them out of the government completely.

I stopped watching the national news on November 3, 2012. It’s a great way to keep your blood pressure low. Many people are getting overwrought about the Zimmerman case, recent Supreme Court rulings on gay marriage, etc., and it’s sad to see. Catch a good ball game! Relax! Or sit down with your Rosary and pray … just a few thoughts for consideration.

Precisely. It is the Democrats that gin up the racism, that pits Black against White, Feminists against Men, and class warfare. The* classic* satanic divide and conquer strategies.

Neither does Al Sharpton or the New Black Panther Party or the N.A.A.C.P.
Unfortunately the alphabet soup channels and the big newspapers like NYT, WaPo, LAT all claim to be “journalism.” I mean PUH LEASE how they can claim to be even slightly objective is beyond me.

How ironic that the relatively small protests today were given full throated coverage…imagine 500 people came out in New York City and that is with Trayvon’s mother there to speak…500? We get more than that to object to a new Walmart. Based on the interviews at the various protests, this is a movement in search of a cause. Although the signs today were mostly “Justice for Trayvon” when asked why they were protesting the answers were either along the lines of racial profiling, unnecessary violence (oh like Martin pounding Zimmerman’s head into the pavement?) or the SYG laws 🤷

Clearly the attempt to gin up charges of racism, racial profiling or bad law has failed. There is no such thing as perfect justice. It’s not justice when a ten year old dies of cancer or a young mom dies in a car accident. Sometimes bad things happen and there is no one or nothing available to pay for the damage with their blood. Even those protesting or unhappy with the verdict cannot point to any obvious bias by the jury, the judge or incompetence of the attorneys.

I just feel sorry for the jury who obviously diligently did their work, carefully reviewed the evidence and made the decision based on the legal requirements vis a vis the charges.

That doesn’t bring back Martin and it doesn’t give George Zimmerman any real freedom.

What a mess and mostly thanks to the media. As Sir Charles said, their hands are NOT clean.

did the NAACP express outrage at the Boston Marathon bombings with numerous people killed or did they express outrage with the Sandy Hook elementary school shootings or the Aurora, Colorado movie theatre shootings?

That would be a big NO!

:rotfl: of course not. In fact one of the comments from that corner of the world was deep resentment that “so much attention” was focused on Sandy Hook and of course the ONLY reason was that a bunch of upper class white kids were mowed down (by an upper class white kid). The claims that 'no one would have cared had the children in Sandy Hook been black…"

NAACP is only relevant if they can maintain the “America is a racist country meme.” It was a showcase of Leftist causes with Ben Jelous trumpeting that a bunch of coal fired plants would be closed…because you KNOW pollution tends to hover around black communities! When Deneen Berelli who was walking around talking to some of the participants mentioned that if these plants were shut down, electricity would “necessarily skyrocket” per POTUS himself and wouldn’t that be a lot more of a problem for the poor than some vague concern about pollution? Ms Berelli said the participants were sort of shocked and said they wanted to know more. It’s very sad that race relations are being harmed by such groups that want to gin up crises so they can stay in the news.

It atonishes me how either ignorant or dishonest some of our representatives are. Tonight on Judge Jeanine some Rep/Senator said the reason we need to keep the Martin case alive was because IF Zimmerman followed Martin because he was black, even if Martin instigated the fight that led to his death it doesn’t erase the “hate crime.” God help us if this is typical of Congress. The man stood up there and LIED AND LIED AND LIED…the “innocent kid with Skittles” meme, the “hunted down by Zimmerman meme” and the “racial profiling claims” were all there. What a toad…

They are going to flog this dead horse until there isn’t anything left but hooves and whiskers.

Interesting column in HuffPo no less and written by a black man:

To be brutally honest, the only reason people are even aware of Trayvon Martin is because it became a topic within mainstream news and pop culture. Meaning: News directors saw it as a profitable, sensational story. ***Hundreds of blacks die annually in South Side Chicago without even a blurb. Trayvon isn’t in the mainstream news for any reason other than ratings and profit. The news coverage on the Zimmerman case almost implies that the killing of this young black man is somehow an anomaly and I resent that.***I

In this country, if it isn’t streamlined through mainstream media and pop culture, it doesn’t seem to warrant national debate. Our “government” continues to wreak havoc on our civil liberties and there is little to no protest from the black community because of media diversion tactics that keep such pertinent issues out of mainstream media. But if Jay-Z or Rihanna were to make mention of it, we’d suddenly be jolted out of our sugar comas and protesting on freeways.

If we really wanted to ensure Trayvon Martin’s killing was not in vain, we’d stop perpetuating negative images that are now synonymous with black men in America. We’d stop rapping about selling drugs and killing niggas. The next time we saw a man beating a woman, we’d call for help or break it up, but one thing we would not do is stand by with our cellphones out – yelling WORLDSTAR! Instead of rewarding kids for memorization, we’d reward them for independent and critical thinking.

however, it didn’t seem to help ratings at CNN which seemed to plummet after the verdict because it was obvious that they were going to beat the topic to death and go over and over the same things and cry racism.

I have heard some black journalists speaking up that the reason americans lock their doors or women hold their purses tighter is because of the disproportionate number of crimes committed by black youth, but the NAACP doesn’t want to talk about that!!!

He may be “black,” but he can’t possibly be “authentically black.” No doubt he is a traitor to his race, sell out, Uncle Tom, etc. He is probably a member of “the old white man party.”

Seriously, though, his point is probably lost on liberals. They don’t see the disconnect between the outcry over society viewing young black men as thugs and the resulting protest, that involves thuggish activities. Sure…best way to end the stereotype is to further the stereotype.

then when Obama came out and spoke at the daily briefing the other day about Trayvon could have been him or he could have been trayvon 35 years ago I really got nauseated.

Obama did not have the same childhood as most African American males. he was living in Indonesia and Hawaii. I don’t think Obama really wants to identify himself with anfrican American males unless it scores him points politically. he has no shame in my opinion.

NAACP leader cannot name any of the SIXTY ONE black men killed during the Zimmerman trial

ijreview.com/2013/07/66985-hannity-to-naacp-name-one-of-61-people-murdered-in-chicago-during-zimmerman-trial/
This has been a point of debate on another thread.I and others have mentioned that until Obama, and all the racec baiters on the left acknowledge the regular incidents of black on black crime as mentioned above and the black on white crimes, their outcries of justice for TM seem disingenuous at best.

:confused:Why the comment. The only radio that has been mentioned is NPR. Do you think that is right wing? 🤷
I think the point being made was right leaning radio is pretty upfront about that fact.Whereas most left leaning programs feign objectivity, when in fact they are not.

Well said.

it was made in reference to the post directly above it.

The major media outlet for a right wing point of view is radio, and it is overtly conservative.

Most of the rest of the MSM, including NPR, is an outlet for a left-wing point of view, but covertly so. There is the pretense of objectivity.

That is very pertinent in the way this otherwise inconsequential tragic story has taken on such a life of its own. It is the editorializing of this story into the pre-existing narrative, rather than an objective presentation of the facts that have blown this story into what it is today.

Talk radio is talk radio. Ed Schultz has his program, I don’t confuse it for the news, it is news commentary.

I will listen to Christian and Catholic talk radio sometimes but I don’t confuse it with the news either.
