I really don’t care as long as the person is not a liberal Democrat like Obama.

I guess you realize that you are not only electing a president, you are electing his party as well. IMO, not voting is a vote for Obama. Do you really think the country can go with another four years of Obama?
I wish that every elected president would remember that he/she is President of every American in the country, not just the party that pays the bills or the special interest groups that help put him in office.

T’would seem that the number of things that went wrong with those two, especially with the space program, made for a host of problems the solutions for which cost large amounts of money.
It is indeed a puzzlement.

You’ll be waiting a long time to see your wish come true.😃

Well, I do care if the person is an etch-a-sketch candidate like Mitt Romney. This “anyone but Obama mentality” is what gave us the Republican Clown Show of 2011 and allowed totally incompetent candidates like Herman Cain to waste everybody’s time while he quotes Pokemon.

Last week, Mitt Romney called Russia our “number-one geopolitical foe.” There’s good diplomacy for you! As if we don’t have enough to deal with between China and Al-Qaeda, let’s start the Cold War all over again!

You can’t just run against someone - you have to have something decent to offer in its place. Otherwise, you are just being reckless with people’s lives.

That comment was harmless. You’re looking for reasons NOT to like Romney. By Democrat standards, they should be happy he’s not a “hard right” guy.

The comment was simply that the campaign manager would run a different campaign during the general election as opposed to the primaries.

Oh, the humanity!

What would you call Russia? Last week, our President told Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that he would be “more flexible” with US defense plans in Eastern Europe “after the election”.

I’m sure THAT doesn’t bother you.

Obama’s Russian pollicy has been an abject failure (like much foriegn relations. See “Iran reset”). Since 2009, Russia has been drifting closer to authoritarian rule, has blocked US interests with Syria and Iran, plus the hot mic implications that he will further cut US defenses.

For what purpose? Did Obama get promises for Russian support for more sanctions on Iran or Syria? To suspend uranium enrichment Russia ships to Iran?

No, because the emporer has no clothes.

Should have been “other”. I didn’t fully read the poll before answering Barack Obama, whom I think will be the next President, but shouldn’t be.

Peace and God bless!

I don’t need to look for reasons not to like Mitt Romney. He was my pro-choice Republican governor for four years. I didn’t like him then, why should I like him now? 🤷

Because he’s better than President Obama.

Here is the president’s pro-abortion record.

But that list does not even include his pre-election pro-abortion record, going back to his time in the Illinois legislature, where he voted against protecting infants who were born alive. So I could not vote for him anyway, even if I liked other things. And his party’s platform has become ever more strenuously pro-abortion with each convention. But his pro-abortion record may not even be as important to the nation as the fact that he seems intent on driving up energy costs, and thus all prices, has no plan whatever to reduce the nation’s debt and unfunded mandates, and will likely run the economy over a debt cliff and end up devaluing everyone’s money. There are tremendous hardships ahead and he will only exacerbate them in his second term. The poor will suffer most from this mismanagement. Catholics and others, in the meantime will be treated as second class citizens and have our religious freedoms curtailed.

And you think that kindergarten slogans like “Hope and Change” and “Yes We Can” are any better?

And, I just have to…
