I just found out that “Soldier F” of 1 Para is actually facing charges in Northern Ireland for 2 murders and 5 attempted murders that day.

I’ll also take the word that that church was heavily vandalized and, had graffiti painted on it and I don’t know the full extent, maybe set on fire… but yes, let’s believe her.

Actually, according to the pastors there, the damage was very minimal and they didn’t seem to be that distressed about it.
 
I respectfully disagree. He’s nominated a Supreme Court Justice. Is that what you mean. Specifically what has he down aside from rhetoric designed to keep us in his base. I don’t see him championing Gospel causes in fact in many areas he seems contrary to the less advantaged.

Some of us won’t. Like the average person know the difference between tear gas and a smoke cannister. Heck, I experienced both as part of SEER training in the Air Force, and I am not an expert.

So once again, there we are. Divisions that people claim they want to heal, that will likely remain in perpetuity.
 
It’s a great statement, if tear gas was fired, then, that means Trump would have had to walk through what was tear gas or where there was a short time before. Logic tells us the Park Police told the truth.

So is there a material difference between driving peaceful protesters away with flash bangs, rubber bullets, metal shields and tear gas; and driving peaceful protesters away with flash bangs, rubber bullets, metal shields and HC smoke? Isn’t both using force to drive away peaceful people, including driving clergy away from their own church so that it can be used as a photo op?
 
I’m thankful for what EMS workers have done, in Virginia, agitators were blocking the fire department at a building and it’s a wonderful thing that nobody was burned to death.

So, if one just looks at the police, let’s make sure we look at everything they do and everything agitators do.

From the description off the effects suffered by the Reverend, If that’s the case then smoke canisters and tear gas are just as bad.

Personally, I imagine she had enough experience with tear gas during the week that she knew when she was being gassed.

And I still believe she has more credibility than the park police. Especially after seeing their performance Monday evening.

I have been in both smoke and tear gas many times (although not lately). The smoke in smoke grenades is “HC” and it is pretty caustic (and a bit toxic). Even after being subjected to tear gas many times, you can mistake HC smoke for tear gas. Tear gas is actually quite a bit worse, but when you are in a cloud of HC it feels really bad, and its not unusual to think it is tear gas.

BUT, it doesn’t really matter what kind of aerial irritant was used to force the peaceful protesters away, does it?

How many Secret Service Agents have been hurt while defending the White House against terrorists in the past week?

That number is 50.

And one was hurt by getting hit by a brick in the head.

Other people have rights too.
 
Ludicrous to you, perhaps. Not to the victims. They all die, and horribly.

Human life has certainly become cheap if it’s “ludicrous” to think it’s more important than whether a politician stands in front of a church.
 
As bad as domestic terrorism is, at least the media has taken a break from coronavirus coverage. It was getting old anyway. I’m sure they’re relieved to have another boost in the news cycle.

You seem to have a really low opinion of Archbishop Gregory:

As stated, places clear out for the president, they go somewhere, roads are closed off, people are prohibited from going somewhere but there is another standard for the present President than for the prior one?

As said, there was a traffic jam near me for 2 hours years ago because a president was in town.

How accurate is this?

The Police Department has now released a press release stating that the protestors weren’t peaceful and that they had no idea President Trump was coming for the photo.

They’re also claiming tear gas was never used.
