You so exaggerate! NO ONE has said they are perfect. The difference with the two ticketsFor my part, I cannot accept that Romney and Ryan are perfect, the two of them deigning to “walk among us,” but each to his or her own point of view. She is entitled to hers.![]()
is SO significant, that it’s a no-brainer for most of us.
I know several people who became pro-life and conservative. (The reasons were varied.) I
know some who became “pro-choice” from a more radical stance. The latter identify still
as progressive. The people in the first group have never wavered since their conversion.
A few prominent progressives (Al Gore, for one) were pro-life and became “pro-choice.”
The point of all this is that most who are conservative or lean that way are among the ones
who don’t back down once they’ve become “pro-life.” Since I’ve been observing this since
I was a teenager (a long time ago), it is just my observations over the years, but I think
there is something to it. I think it is also why some in the progressive (liberal) camp find
it hard to believe the conversions in the conservative camp.
