Thanks Yellowbird. Well my hubby and I came to a compromise. It involves us meeting in the middle as we have done on every other major issue that has crossed our path so far. He seems greatly pleased and so am I. I am sure the hard core people in here will think that a compromise is not good enough but for those of you who gave constructive advise I am sure you will understand. I do not think I would have even been willing to compromise if I hadn’t read some of your posts. What really struck me was how some of you said I was only thinking of myself and what was right for me and not thinking of my husband. You were right and he said the same thing about himself. God works in great ways because I think he tore down both our walls last night and we woke up with a new determination to find a loving solution. Boy did I pray hard last night as I am sure he did to. Thanks again for your thoughts.

i am catholic my wife was a luthern religion she somtimes attends her former church i do not in any object we are both christians in the eyes of God. i have several non catholics in our family your husband needs to get with the modern times and accept you as his wife and quite complaining. we are all created equal in the eyes of God regardless of our religious practice.🙂

Best thing in the world -
taking this issue to Our Lord in prayer.

Great! Work together. One thing I would like to advise you on. Many people think one church is as good as another, some shop for a church like some shop for a sale on clothes. Many people who were raised Catholic sadly do not really know anything about the church and view it as one of many denominations. Consider that the choice may effect you and your children for the rest of eternity. Just briefly, Jesus founded ONE church to teach the truth for all man. He did not establish many different churches teaching different things some contary to His Will. The only church that can trace its roots back to Christ is the Catholic Church. I suggest you do some serious studying of the Church history. I have provided a link for you, it is very short but deals with some important things about the Church. I would like both of you to look at it. Additional information can be had on that same site which also provides links to others such as EWTN.

Good luck and God Bless you on your journey.
