Please pray for me, Possible Cirrhosis of the Liver

I have to wait 13hrs before any more likes …

Katherine438, please know that I include you and your intentions in my prayer every night. I hope and pray that you get the best treatment and care possible and that your healing is complete and complication free.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Katherine438). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Katherine438’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

I’m nervous … hope I like the surgeon. Was told by his secretary that if I want a specific procedure done for surgery that they have surgeons in New York City that can accommodate me. I’ve looked into it, and found that a robotic surgery is best to save kidney function … so I am thinking of asking for that kind of surgery.

In any event the secretary told me they might first need to do other testing … so she asked me to send over the test results I have tonight so that she can have their radiology department look at them, which I will be doing.

They seem to be very understanding at Sloan … I think I will be happy that I am going there.

Thank you to everyone for your continued prayers … I appreciate them more than I can say.

Lord, we come before you today in need of your healing hand. In you all things are possible. Hold Katherine’s heart within yours, and renew her mind, body, and soul.

You gave us life, and you also give us the gift of infinite joy. Give her the strength to move forward on the path you’ve laid out for her. Guide Katherine towards better health, and give her the wisdom to identify those you’ve placed around her to help her get better.

Thank you all for your continued prayers.

I continue to be very nervous about the possibility that this cancer has spread … the CT scan without contrast showed nothing … and I have found out that that was not a reliable test … so now I am waiting to see what the Doctor at Sloan will decide to do for testing. My appointment at Sloan is 8 a.m. on Saturday … hoping I see a road forward after that appointment.

God Bless you all for continuing to pray for me … I pray that I have a successful appointment with the surgeon from Sloan tomorrow … I really need for this to start going more quickly … seems like I’m just giving the cancer more time to grow.
