I’m glad you liked the surgeon. Hope the test with contrast shows that the cancer hasn’t spread. If it has can the surgery be brought forward?

He’s pretty certain that this size tumor did not spread … if it did, the surgery would be done sooner … but he was pretty certain it did not.
By the way, I’m not losing weight, so this cancer isn’t really acting like cancer.

Still have to get my kidney doctor to sign off on the use of contrast for the MRI … the surgeon seems to think there will be no problem … it’s a different type of contrast than the contrast used for a CT Scan.
Also just want to ask everyone to please don’t forget to keep praying for me … I think we are taking a little bit of a chance in waiting until January … but the doctor says I am going to need someone home with me to take care of me and I have no one but my husband, and he is retiring on January 1. Doctor says it is safe to wait, but it worries me a little.

By the way I researched waiting to take out a cancerous kidney tumor, and it seems that there are people who wait a long time to have this surgery with no bad outcomes … so the surgeon was telling me the truth.
