Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women
And Blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for those in nursing homes now
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

You are in my daily prayers ~

Omnipotent and eternal God, the everlasting Salvation of those who believe, hear us on behalf of Thy sick servant, Katherine, for whom we beg the aid of Thy pitying mercy, that, with her bodily health restored, she may give thanks to Thee in Thy church.
Through Christ our Lord.

Amen.
🙏

Holy Mary, help those in need, give strength to the weak, comfort the sorrowful, pray for God’s people, assist the clergy, intercede for religious. May all who seek your help experience your unfailing protection. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Katherine438). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Katherine438’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Thank you to everyone for your prayers … they are most appreciated throughout this difficult time … waiting for the surgery is not something I had expected to do … but the surgeon seems to feel that it won’t hurt anything to wait and he said I will need help afterwards.

God Bless you all for being so kind.

Katherine

Waiting is difficult indeed, Katherine. It allows us time to let fear grow. Banish fear and let only hope into your heart! Continuing prayers for you Katherine. 💕

My parish priest is coming over every Tuesday to say prayers with me … he’s a lovely man with a beautiful soul … he is helping me rest my fears with our Lord.

Sáncte Míchael Archángele, defénde nos in proélio, cóntra nequítiam et insídias diáboli ésto præsídium. Ímperet ílli Déus, súpplices deprecámur: tuque, prínceps milítiæ cæléstis, Sátanam aliósque spíritus malígnos, qui ad perditiónem animárum pervagántur in múndo, divína virtúte, in inférnum detrúde. Ámen.

Adding my voice to these prayers for you, dear Katherine. Praying for your healing and for the ease of your pain and fear.

Will continue remembering you in my prayers. I know it can be hard to wait, but it sounds like you have very good spiritual support and a knowledgeable physician.

Eternal, Holy God,
I come to You burdened with worries,
fears, doubts and troubles.
Calm and quiet me with peace of mind.
Empty me of the anxiety that disturbs me,
of the concerns that weary my spirit,
and weight heavy on my heart.
Amen.

Thank you all so much for continuing to pray for me … I have a lot to get done before the surgery in January … my husband is retiring on January 1 and we have a meeting at his job … plus I have a lot of dental work that has to be done before the end of the year … on top of which the MRI was just changed to November 16 and I meet with the doctor at Sloane again on the 26th of November … then I guess we will be doing all the pre-op testing in December. My head feels like it’s going to explode with all the appointments I have to keep. Anxiety through the roof right now.

I’m not as worried as I was … there’s just a lot of stuff that I have to do in the next two months to get ready for being out of commission for a while during my recuperation … doctor says it takes 3 months to recuperate from this surgery … so I just pray I’m strong enough … lupus doesn’t like surgery and I will wind up also having a bad lupus attack … so it may indeed be a long haul back … but everyone I know says I’m a strong person … so I guess I have to believe them.

You are in my daily prayers~

Almighty and merciful Father, by the power of your command, drive away from Katherine, all forms of sickness and disease. Restore strength to her body and joy to her spirit, so that in her renewed health, she may bless and serve you, now and forevermore.
Amen.
🙏

Dear Lord be Katherine’s protector and defender in this time of trouble.
Surround her with the Holy Angels, so that she may emerge from every danger in the fullness of health and well being. Guide her life journey, so she will always walk safely together with you, in God’s protection and friendship.

Amen. 🙏
