Thanks to all for your continued prayers.

Spring has arrived early here this year and the farmers are in the fields. I have been very busy with work since I work in the agriculture industry.

John is still home but will be leaving soon. He told me that he isn’t making any promises about us. This is hard for me and it is also hard for me to know that he continues to have contact with the other woman. I also found out that he has been chatting with another woman online. I continue to pray to God as to what I should do. I know that in time the answer will come and I have to be patient, it may not be what I want to hear. He is currently on medication for his bipolar and I pray that it helps. He also found out that one of his sisters may be bipolar too, she had a breakdown and he has been there for her.

You are all in my prayers, may the Lord be with you!

Cassie
God bless you Cassie for you are being so brave and strong.I ask Our Blessed Lord to surround you with love and strength.

Please Lord grant continued strength to Cassie to cope with her husbands infidelity. Please surround her with Your infinite love may she feel strengthened in her faith that she can cope. Please osften her husbands heart and open his mind to Your will that he will return properly to his wife abd be faithful.Cassie has been so loyal and faithful and shown great faith in You.I ask You to reard her faith Lord with Your love.Thankyou for hearing our prayers Amen

Thank you all for your continued prayers!

John had a bad day yesterday and was very depressed. He told me when I got home that he had thought about blowing his head off and that I would be better off without him. He also said that his new medication was not working. I tried to assure him that he is loved and that the medication takes time. I continue to pray for him and that he doesn’t give up. I also pray for our relationship and that the Lord will be with both of us. I came home today early because I wasn’t feeling well and found the computer on with his online chat with another womanl, this hurts. I did not tell him about it but am continuing to find these little things that he is trying to hide. This leaves me with a decision as to continue to be with him or to leave. I am asking God that He help me with this decision. John’s bipolar disorder plays a big part in how John is but John is also responsible for his actions, I don’t know what to do. John continues to tell me he loves me, which confuses me. I know that John is a good man, but I also know that God wants me to be happy which leads me back to do I stay or do I go. I am a strong believer in the institute of marriage even though we are divorced it was not something that I wanted. I will continue to pray on this and I know that God will answer me. Please know that all of you continue to be in my prayers.

  • Praying hard for you, John, and family that things will begin to proceed in a positive way, for his health and all concerns. Praying also to St. Edward the Confessor, patron of difficult marriages and separated spouses for his intercession on your behalf. Adding prayers to St Dymphna for intercession re: bipolar and suicidal thoughts Praying as well for dear mother, asking for the intercession of St. Camillus. And praying daily for the intercession of Servant of God Father Nelson Baker for your & family’s & friends’ needs/intentions, whether able to post or not…
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now, and
at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, as is and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell,
lead all souls to heaven, especially, those in most need of Your Mercy.
Amen

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins,
my Mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

and trust in the Lord.

Dear Cassie…you and John remain in my prayers, especially at every Mass I attend. I think all you can do now is to offer your support to him and to pray, just as you’ve been doing. As long as you offer him that emotional and spiritual support, I believe you will be doing God’s Will. You have my prayers! :hug1:

Remember, O Most Gracious Virgin Mary,
That never was it known
That anyone who fled to Thy protection,
Implored Thy help,
Or sought Thy intercession was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto Thee,
O Virgin of Virgins, My Mother!
To Thee do I come, before Thee I stand,
Sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
Despise not our petitions,
But in Thy clemency hear and answer them.
Amen.

O Immaculate Heart of Mary and dear Saint Monica, please pray for all marriages and married couples. I ask in particular for Your heavenly intercession for Cassie and John. May they grow in love through Christ Our Lord. (Amen!) Thank You for these and for all of your prayers. Amen.

PRAYER TO THE HOLY SPIRIT # 3
Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
enlighten our minds to perceive the mysteries
of the universe in relation to eternity.

Spirit of right judgment and courage,
guide us and make us firm in our baptismal decision
to follow Jesus’ way of love.

Spirit of knowledge and reverence,
help us to see the lasting value of justice
and mercy in our everyday dealings with one another.

May we respect life
as we work to solve problems of family and nation,
economy and ecology.

Spirit of God,
spark our faith,
hope and love into new action each day.

Fill our lives with wonder and awe
in your presence which penetrates all creation.

Amen.

Prayer of St. Augustine

Oh Mother of Perpetual Help, grant that I may ever invoke your powerful name, the protection of the living and the salvation of the dying. Purest Mary, let your name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, Blessed Lady, to rescue me whenever I call on you. In my temptations, in my needs, I will never cease to call on you, ever repeating your sacred name, Mary, Mary. What a consolation, what sweetness, what confidence fills my soul when I utter your sacred name or even only think of you! I thank the Lord for having given you so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely uttering your name. Let my love for you prompt me ever to hail you Mother of Perpetual Help. Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for me and grant me the favor I confidently ask of you.For Cassie and her husband
(Then say three Hail Marys)

Hope you, John and your loved ones are well, Cassie! Still praying for you and John, and often remembering your dad in my prayers for the faithful departed. :hug1: :gopray:

Divine Mercy
Eternal God,
in whom mercy is endless
and the treasury of compassion
  • inexhaustible,
    look kindly upon us
and increase Your mercy in us,
    that in difficult moments
    we might not despair
    nor become despondent,
    but with great confidence
submit ourselves to Your holy will,
which is Love and Mercy itself.

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.
