Continued prayers for you …

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

My middle stepson came home this past weekend with his girlfriend for a wedding that he was in. He is currently working out of state with the same company that my husband is. Last night I went over to my in-laws and while we were all over there my son told us that him and his girlfriend were expecting and thinking about getting married yet this fall. I know this is backwards in that you should get married first, but things happen. My son had told my husband the night before and my husband didn’t have much to say. I am praying very hard for our whole family now and that my husband will see how much family means. I am asking prayers for my son and his girlfriend in that they may find happiness in this newly created life and that my husband will want to stay in our marriage and work through our problems. God Bless You!

Merciful Father, as we learn of the twists and turns that this family is enduring, we know that You watch as Your plan unfolds. May this new life be the catalyst which draws the family back together. Rather than despair, may they look upon this child with awe and wonderment at Your creative power. May the sin of adultery lead to the blessing of unity. Lord, grant each of them knowledge of their purpose in life, and give them the courage to pursue that purpose while seeking Your will. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Thank you for your prayers. I had a difficult day on Wednesday and broke down crying on the phone when I was talking to my husband. I felt awful for doing it, but I feel better now and know that God is always with me. My husband was very supportive and asked me what I wanted to do. I told him that I want this marriage to work and that I don’t want to lose my family. I have come to realize that money and materialistic things are not important, but your family is. I have drawn much comfort from God and my family during this time. I know there is a reason for this suffering and I am continuing to let God show me the way. I continue to pray and hope that there will be a reconciliation. I pray for everyone here at CAF, it means so much to know that there are others out there that have or are going through simliar situations, God Bless each and everyone of you! You will all continue to be in my prayers. :gopray2:

:signofcross:

Father in Heaven, out of Your unfathomable love, grant a tear-filled reunion within this family. Hear the fervent prayers that are ascending from around all of creation. And, we pray as has been revealed to us:

Our Father,
Who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name,
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy Will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And, lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one. Amen.

Hail, Mary, full of Grace.
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the Fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now, and at the hour of our death. Amen. Alleluia!

I am praying that Jesus will take control of your situation and that your husband will give your marriage a second chance.

Keeping your intentions and family in my prayers…

I continue to thank and pray for all of CAF members who have offered their prayers and words of encouragement. I know that God has been working with both my husband and I during this difficult situation. My husband is having a difficult time with me forgiving him for what he has done and is struggling with forgiving himself. He is not convinced that I will be able to take him back because of what he has done. We had a very long talk today about what happened, which was very hard for me, but we needed to talk about it if we are going to work through this. He asked if he were to ask me to come out and be with him what would I do. I told him I would be packing bags right now and be there as soon as I could. We both realize that we can not go back to what we had because it did not work, we would have to start new. As for his depression he will be able to get an appointment whenever he wants, he just has to let them know a week in advance. I told him to make it as soon as possible and I will be there for him. I know that our reconcilation will take time, maybe years, but I have faith in the Lord and I have hope. I will not give up on my husband in his time of need because I know that he would do the same for me. We continue to love each other and share a deep friendship for one another. I would like to offer hope to anyone else out there who is going through a similar situation. Nothing is impossible with the Lord, just continue to believe and keep your faith strong. At times it will seem that hope is lost and that God has abandoned you, but that is just the evil one coming between you and God. Ask God for help, He always listens. I don’t know the outcome of my situation, but I am not giving up, I trust in Him. May God Bless All of You!

Continuing in prayer for your healing***

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen

Dear Cassie89,
I admire your devotion. You trully love your husband, just like Jesus would want us to love. It can be very hard to forgive someone, but you have accepted God’s grace to do so.

I feel your pain. I will pray for you tonight, with all my heart and soul. That God give you the grace to accept his Will.

Some of you know the ups and downs when a marriage is in crisis. I had a particularly bad day yesterday and did a lot of praying. I did talk to my husband last night, which always helps. I want to be with him and I want this marriage to work. I pray everyday that we can be reconciled and that I will not give up on him or us. I pray that he can forgive himself and that the evil one will not come between us. I have forgiven him and the other person for what has been done, but every once in awhile the evil one tries to stir up things inside of me, but I fight him back with the help of the Lord. Please pray that my husband and I continue to work on being together as a couple again and that we will be stronger because of it. I know it seems that I posted alot, but all of you at CAF have been a God send to me and have given so much comfort and words of encouragement. Thank you so much and may God Bless All of You!

Cassie89, I am warring for you…although we weren’t married at the time, I too, have a hard time and the evil one creeps up in my thoughts and reminds me of the infidelity. I forgave, but shoot, Cassie, sometimes, just sometimes, that familiar twinge comes into play. YOU are giving me the greatest strength when I am reminded of this stupid thing - so please, rest comforted that sometimes your greatest pain can be your biggest triumph in the Lord. Your devotion to your husband is so beautiful.

I will continue to lift you up in prayer. Sometimes when I read you posts, I wish I knew how you did it. We weren’t even married, but it still affects me sometimes…

Blessings to you in abundance. Stay strong, you are powerful in the Lord.

Holly

Cassie89,
I, too, am walking the same path you are. There is one book that helps me get through the cloudy days.

The Power of Forgiveness - *Keep Your Heart Free *by Joyce Meyer.

She writes small phrases that helps put things in perpective in a Godly way. I am sure it will help both you and your husband.

Jesus taught us that we are to forgive those who hurt us, to pray for thsoe who despitefully use us, and to bless those who curse us. That is hard. But there is something harder- being full of hatred, bitterness, and resentment.

I will continue to pray for you.
