Continuing in prayer for your healing.

*** Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen***

God bless you +

Thank you for your prayers simon x. My husband may be coming home the weekend of October 10th for his father’s birthday. We have not seen each other since July 17th and many things have changed between the two of us and we are looking forward to seeing each other again. I confess that I have moments when I get depressed and cry because my family is gone, but I get through them with prayer, this forum and talking to my husband. I try not to burden my husband’s family with my problems because they do have lives of their own, still it brings me much comfort to be around them knowing that they care for the both of us. I continue to pray for patience during this time. Reconciliation will take some time because we have both been hurt and neither one of us wants to hurt the other again. I pray for all of those that are in a similar situation, may you know that God is always with you. May God Bless You All!

I’m glad you’ll be seeing each other again soon, Cassie. I pray that when he sees you face to face again, he’ll realize what a treasure you are, and never let you go again. 🙂

The strength of your faith is so inspiring to me; thank you for being here on the forum. :hug1:

Thank you Morwenna for your kind words. I have written earlier that my husband suffers from depression and I have come to the conclusion that I do too. I have been depressed most of the day, but have been able to go to work without it interfering but on the way home and writing this right now I cannot stop the tears from flowing and I don’t know why. This hasn’t happened to me for some time but when it does I can’t stop it. I talked to my husband last night and he was tired and probably overworked. He told me that no matter how our relationship might end up that he loves me. He doesn’t know what he wants right now, but he does know that he wants to see me and see how it goes during his weekend back. I am very happy that he is coming home before the cruise, but I am scared of being rejected. I know this is the work of the evil one, so I have been praying for strength to fight him. I pray that everyone who is feeling like I do now find hope and strength in the Lord. I continue to pray for this marriage and reconciliation and for all of you. May God Bless You!

I spent a great deal of time in prayer after I wrote the last post. I have renewed hope and faith in that my husband will want to stay in this marriage. Separation is hard and even harder when there are many miles between us, but I pray too that will eventually change. I talked to my husband tonight and he said he may not be able to come home after all because the job is taking too long. I pray that this will change, he sounds so worn out and tired, please pray that he will get the time off that he needs. He had an appointment at the doctor too that I will have to cancel and I really think that he should go, he is in some pain. Thank you to my many friends here at CAF for your continued prayers and words of encouragement. I am praying for all who are going through some kind of crisis in their marriage ( and there are many). Many the Lord Bless You!

My church has all-night adoration tonight, and I will be praying for you and your husband before the Blessed Sacrament, Cassie! 🙂

I am so sorry to hear about the latest developments. I am so sorry you are being tested in such a way. Please know that you re in my prayers and intentions of my rosaries. I will be going to mass tonight and will pray and pray hard. Please continue being as strong as you are. Stay firm in your desire for reconciliation. I will praying for your husband so that he can find peace in his heart and mind. I too will pray that the job would be completed quickly and then he can come home.

Thank you morwenna, wilbzbooboo and rebusrms for your prayers, they continue to mean a lot for me. I am not giving up on reconciliation of my marriage even though it seems that there has been some setbacks, I know the Lord has a plan for me I just have to trust in Him. Thank you for your continued prayers for my husband. I have told him that I pray for him everyday and he says that he appreciates it and continues to love and care about me. He is still unsure about our relationship at times, but I believe that the Lord is working with him, even though he may be unaware of it and trying to help him forgive himself and to heal. May God bless all of you.

Still in my prayers Cassie. Your faith always shines through like a beacon, appreciate that…

Will continue to pray for your husband to get time to rest, take care of his needs, and to spend much needed time with you. He sounds like a decent hardworking man.

Appreciate prayers for all going through difficult times. I have 2 friends at work that have separated from thier wives and it’s very painful to hear and see what they’re going through. Prayers for them too.

Thank you for your continued prayers simon. I talked to my husband tonight and things are looking a little better in that he will probably be able to come home next weekend if everything keeps going at the pace it is now. I thank God and all of CAF members for your continued prayers. Continuing to pray for all of those that are in similar situations, may you not lose faith or hope.

Still praying that the one flesh will be re-united in newfound joy. The old order has passed away. Behold the new. New challenges, new triumphs, new pains, and new joy in the Lord and your marriage. You have revealed the love and support of Christ to him, and he was drawn to it. Our hearts are made for God, and you bore witness of His love. Praise God in Heaven!

Thank you for your continued prayers po18guy! I have brief moments when I talk to my husband and he asks if we can still be friends if this doesn’t work, that I get down because I know this marriage is something that I really want and want to try to repair, but the moments pass and I continue to have hope and faith in the Lord that He knows what He is doing. Part of my husband’s doubting is that he told me that he loves me but hasn’t felt anything for awhile, which I’m not sure what he means. I believe that marriage isn’t always about the excitement but a deeper love and caring for one another. I pray my husband with the Lord’s help see that I do love and care deeply for him. As I have written before, he suffers from depression and from guilt from what he has done. I pray that the Lord have mercy on him and that my husband can forgive himself and continue on the road to get help for his depression. I appreciate all prayers that have come our way. I am not giving up, but at times continuing on this road is really tough, but I know that the Lord is with us and with your continued prayers I know we can make it. May God Bless All of You!

It seems like I’m asking for a lot of prayers lately and now I would like to request another. My husband has not gotten his prescription filled for his depression lately because the pharmacy is closed by the time he gets there, so he has not been on his medication since Wednesday of last week and I am very concerned for him because of the call I got from him just recently. He sounded very depressed and asked me why I am hanging on to this marriage so tight. I told him it was because I love him and that he is very special to me. He is hurting both mentally and physically right now and I am praying that he will be able to get his prescription tonight and be able to come home this weekend. I am humbly asking for your prayers for him for he truly is a good man and is fighting a battle with the evil one. Thank you all my brothers and sisters in Christ for your past and present prayers, I know they have helped. May God Bless You!

Will continue to pray for your husband’s physical and mental health. Also, so God watches over you both and helps you two to have much needed together time…

The gracious Lord, who views you as one flesh in two bodies, is even now working His miracle within the two of you. And, just as the roads we drive have bumps and potholes, so does the road to reconciliation. Seek first a deeper, more profound relationship with Christ, and all else will be taken care of, according to the Father’s Divine will. This calls to mind some of the most practical and incisive words ever spoken. They are good to contemplate in unsettling times.
Matthew 6:25-30 Do Not Worry
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[a]?
"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
**Luke 12:22-31 **Do Not Worry
Then Jesus said to his disciples: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? "Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
1 Corinthians 13:3-15
"If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
And how do we express our love of God? Through prayer, when we tell Him of our love of Him, our desire for Him, our willingness to deny ourselves anything and everything to be nearer Him. And, there is no better place to do this than in His Divine presence at Adoration. Pour out your heart to him and lay your anxieties at His Blessed feet. He is listening and has the Father’s ear.

Continuing to pray for the two of you.

Christ’s peace be with you.

Thank you simon, po18guy and 244rocket for your continued prayers. May the Lord bless you!
