My friends in Christ I continue to thank you for your prayers. I will be picking my husband up on Saturday from the airport and am nervous about it only because we haven’t seen each other for months. I do not feel like I did the last time he came home when I was desperate to keep the marriage together, I have recently felt a calm come over me concerning the whole situation and am looking forward to seeing him again after many months. I know this feeling of peace is due to the many prayers that have been offered and my hope and faith in the Lord. There have been times when I have come close to giving up, but haven’t because something in me told me not to. My husband has asked me many times why I have stayed and I simply told him because I love him and he is my best friend and then there is silence on the other end of the phone for awhile and he changes the subject. His continual worry about me and his love for me continues to give me hope. I continue to pray for all who are in similar situations. God Bless.

Cheryl, I lifted you and your husband up in prayer before Christ in the Blessed Sacrament this evening. May Christ’s peace be with you.

I so glad to hear about Saturday. I pray it will be a glorious time of love and open sharing. I pray that you would remain strong. I will say a special rosary just for you and your husband.

Keeping you both in my prayers.*

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen

***God bless you † ***

Thank you for your prayers! I am on the verge of tears again because my husband and I had a truthful talk this afternoon. I asked my husband some very hard questions that I needed answered and he told me the truth. This woman that he has had a relationship with is still in the picture because she works at the same place my husband does. I asked if I had competition and he said yes. I asked if he still loved me and he said yes. He said that he doesn’t feel the same as he did a few years ago about me. He doesn’t know how this is going to work out but he will always want to be my friend. I know that the suspicions and negative thoughts that are running through my head right now are the work of the evil one. I still have faith and am hopeful that we can work through this. The way he greeted me at the airport was right out of a movie. He couldn’t stop hugging or kissing me and held my hand. I know he is confused right now and doesn’t want to hurt anybody. He honestly believed that our marriage was over when he got involved with this other woman and looking back I realize that I ignored the signs that were there. He doesn’t think I can ever forgive him for what he’s done, but I can with the Lord’s help. I apologize for pouring my heart out to all of you because there are many more who are more deserving of prayers, but it’s because of your prayers that I have come this far. I also realize that some of what my husband is experiencing is due to his depression but I am having a difficult time sorting out what is due to the disease and what is due to our relationship. I continue to pray that we can be together because truthfully I still love him very much. I ask that you continue to pray for us and that he will realize that he wants to make this marriage work. I will continue to pray for all who are in a similar situation. God Bless.

my heart breaks for you. Please know that you are very worthy! You are very special to all of us here. You are very correct about your husband being confused. I hope it helps understanding that. It show great strength on your part to realize that. You are so very strong. Please know that you are constantly in my prayers at home, during mass, and during the rosary.

Thank you wina, gailmac, rebusrms and morwenna for your prayers, they mean so very much to me. I am taking my husband to the doctor tomorrow so he can get an epidermal shot into his spine. His back has been bothering him lately and he was due for another shot. We had a very long talk today about our situation and I’ve found that I can not be angry at this other woman. I went for a walk today and kept asking why? I went into a full blown cry out in the woods. After I stopped I looked around and realized how beautiful the trees were especially a big oak that had turned a dark red. I had my camera along and started taking pictures of the beautiful fall day and I started to feel some peace. My husband had gone to town to have breakfast with a friend of his that he hadn’t seen in awhile and when he came back I asked some hard questions and he gave me truthful answers. I don’t believe the marriage is over yet. There are many things that have to be resolved regardless if we stay together or not because they will carry over into other relationships we may have. I have forgiven my husband and this other woman because I need to have some peace with this whole thing. I continue to ask the Lord daily for guidance and for a reconciliation if it is His will. Later on this afternoon my husband and I went for a drive to look at the fall colors and then stopped at the Veteran War Memorial that we have in our town. Six out eight of his uncles fought in the Korean War, Vietnam War or World War II and there were plaques there honoring them, it was such an awesome sight. We then went to dinner and came home where he gave me such a big hug I thought my ribs would burst. He says he loves me and always will. I continue to pray that he gets time off to go to the clinic for his depression because it’s not being treated properly and it needs to be. I thank you my cyber friends for all of your continued support and prayers. I came across this website by accident and now realize that it wasn’t an accident after all, I was being lead. May the Lord continue to be with all who are in similar situations as mine and may He continue to bless all of you!

I wish you knew how special you are. You are so strong. I can see the Lord working through you. Please continue to realize that He is with you through this time. I will pray specifically for time off for your husband to treat his depression. You are very right in believing he needs to continue treatment. It is imperative. As, I am sure you know your prayers for him are very powerful and strong. The peace that you found in the woods, lean on that feed of it. You are so much stronger than I, what an example you are to all of us. 🙂

Still keeping Cassie and Husband in prayers…St Jude, pray for them, pray for us…

Thank you all CAF members who have prayed for my husband, myself and our marriage. We had a very long talk yesterday on the phone and I am starting to feel a change in him. He originally told me that he is coming home to file divorce papers, which would be next Monday. After we talked for awhile we started talking about things that have gone wrong in our marriage. We have admitted to each other things that we have kept to ourselves. I am still nervous but anxious to see my husband on Thursday. He called me later on in the day, but I wasn’t in the house and left a message and at the end he said “I love you”, something he hasn’t said to me in awhile. I almost cried. I pray that a miracle will happen during the four days before he goes and files papers. He said he still filling them out, but he is excited to see me and time will tell. I am still praying everyday that this is God’s will to reunite us. Through this all I am becoming a stronger person and I think my husband has noticed the change over the phone just in my voice. I pray that God will keep him safe and that he will continue to enter my husband’s heart. God Bless.:gopray2:

Thank you all for your continued prayers. My husband got his epidermal shot yesterday morning in his back so it was sore. We had another discussion about our relationship and the one he has with this other woman. We both got a little angry and I started crying. He then held me in his arms and told me that he never wanted this to happen. I broke down even more and cried like I hadn’t in a long time. When I finally stopped he was wiping tears from his eyes too. There has been so much hurt that I keep praying for the both of us. I haven’t given up on us yet, I still believe that it can work. There are things that he needs to do and I pray that the Lord will guide him to see that no amount of money in the world will replace love. He looked so worn and beaten down when he was home that my heart ached for him. I don’t know what to do except keep praying for him and myself because the evil one likes to get into my thoughts and tell me that I would be better off if I just let this marriage go, I can’t. I can’t abandon my husband who has been abandoned by others during his time of need. I may get my heart crushed in the end, but I need to know that I did everything I could to help him, myself and our marriage. We are leaving for our son’s wedding cruise next weekend and I’m praying that a miracle will happen for us. Please continue to keep us in your prayers, especially my husband who is so confused and overworked that he isn’t getting enough time to deal with anything right now. I thank you my brothers and sisters in Christ in advance and may God Bless You!

I am so sorry that so much is happening. You are doing the right thing, in my humble opinion, by staying beside him despite the other girl. I wish I could tell you all will be well and things are going to work out and you live happily ever after. I can’t because I don’t know what lies ahead, its a mystery. I am so sorry. I can join you and others in prayer for God to be with you and your husband through this difficult time. I will pray a rosary just for you and your intentions for your husband. Stay strong, which you very much are.

Thank you so much rebusrms, as I read your kind words it is making me cry because so many of you are praying so hard and I sometimes think I don’t deserve it, but thank you anyway from the bottom of my heart. May the Lord Bless You!
