Mohammad killed in the name of Allah.

Jesus died for our sins.

Time to except the fact that Islam is religion of hate.

Eh, there’s Robert Dear (Planned Parenthood shooter) who believed that “When he died and went to heaven, he would be met by all the aborted fetuses at the gates of heaven and they would thank him … for what he did because his actions saved lives of other unborn fetuses.”

Now, many Christians will point out that Mr. Dear is likely severely mentally ill. But that quote suggests that he believed he was killing based on his Christian religious beliefs
Robert Dear was found mentally incompetent so he won’t even be standing trial I read so it may be impossible to know whether he would of carried out what he did do if he was mentally competent. Obviously Omar Mateen can’t be tested for his mental competancy because he’s not alive anymore, but an internet search revealed to me that in numerous other cases of terrorist attacks, the individuals who carried out the attacks were found to be mentally competent.

In a surprising discovery, the Palm Beach Post first reported that according to state records, Orlando shooter Omar Mateen - who as we reported earlier was licensed as a security guard and also holds a firearms license - was employed by the US subsidiary of G4S plc, a British multinational security services company, whose US-headquarters are located in Jupiter, Fla, and which also happens to be the world’s largest security company by revenue.
zerohedge.com/news/2016-06-12/orlando-shooter-worked-security-company-which-tranports-illegal-immigrants-deep-insi
In other words, Mateen who according to preliminary reports, had been on a terrorist watchlist, and who still managed to obtain weapons thanks to his various licenses and permits just last week, was employed by one of the world’s largest security companies, where he may have had extensive clearances well above his pay grade, not to mention access to sophisticated military weapons and equipment.
But where it gets more disturbing is that as Judicial Watch reported several days ago, in a post titled, “DHS Quietly Moving, Releasing Vanloads Of Illegal Aliens Away From Border”, border patrol sources said that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was quietly transporting illegal immigrants from the Mexican border to Phoenix and releasing them without proper processing or issuing court appearance documents. As a reminder, the government classifies them as Other Than Mexican (OTM) and this week around 35 were transferred 116 miles north from Tucson to a Phoenix bus station where they went their separate way. Judicial Watch was present when one of the white vans carrying a group of OTMs arrived at the Phoenix Greyhound station on Buckeye Road.
And this is where the Mateen-G4S link emerges: as JW reported previously, a security company contracted by the U.S. government is driving the OTMs from the Border Patrol’s Tucson Sector where they were in custody to Phoenix, sources said. The firm is the abovementioned G4S, the world’s leading security solutions group with operations in more than 100 countries and 610,000 employees. G4S has more than 50,000 employees in the U.S. and its domestic headquarters is in Jupiter, Florida.

I don’t think it’s so farfetched that someone could even simply misconstrue what they hear about homosexuality and about the LGBT community from some Christians or misconstrue the rhetoric from some Christian groups and then go out and act on their own against LGBT individuals. Let us pray not.
So the Church should abandon its teachings about homosexuality lest it lead someone to violence against homosexuals ? What other sins should the Church refrain from commenting on for fear that someone will hurt the Sinners .

And an Islamic terrorist kills 50 people and the eft try spin this as an example of homophobia. And of course if one points out that this was carried out by Islamic terrorist they’re guilty of Islamaphobia.

I was replying to Thorolfr. But mass shootings and bombings and terror have not been limited to those who misconstrue mainstream Islam. And as I said let us pray no one misconstrues something they might hear from a Christian with regard to LGBT individuals. Tha’s all Abyssinia. No offense taken and none to you.
Back to the “everybody does it” defense

This attitude also makes the target more “attractive”, doesn’t it? If an Islamist shot up a shopping mall, it might wake people up to the fact that there’s is a serious, deadly problem with radical islam. By choosing this target, the conversation isn’t about radical Islam. Just look at Obama’s statement about it. He again left out the two words that are at the heart of this issue.

I think so its about guns, and basically a anti christian policy of the democrats. The politics in my mind has labeled christians violent racists. If your not down with Obamas anti christian politics you have nothing intellectual to say. If your a christian that follows him your a good christian. I follow Jesus Christs Church-period, American politics comes a far distant second.

The first polemics after guns was christians do it.

Orlando gunman’s father posts new video message

The Orland gay club gunman’s father has well-known anti-American views and is an ideological supporter of the Afghan Taliban. A new message posted by the father on Facebook early Monday morning also makes it clear he could have passed anti-homosexual views onto his son.

Seddique Mir Mateen, father of Orlando gunman Omar Mateen, who died in a shootout with police after killing at least 49 people early Sunday morning, regularly attended Friday prayers at a Florida mosque with his son.

In the video posted early Monday, Seddique Mateen says his son was well-educated and respectful to his parents, and that he was “not aware what motivated him to go into a gay club and kill 50 people.”

The elder Mateen says he was saddened by his son’s actions during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

He then adds: “God will punish those involved in homosexuality,” saying it’s, “not an issue that humans should deal with.”

The statement, and previous videos by Seddique Mateen, lend some insight into the environment in which his U.S.-born son was raised.

Seddique Mateen hosts a program on a California-based satellite Afghan TV station, aimed at the Afghan diaspora in the in the U.S., called the “Durand Jirga Show.”

According to Breitbart Columnist Milo Yiannopolos (don’t know if I spelled his last name right), Omar Mateen is a registered Democrat. Seems like he’d get a lot of personal attention from the media if he had a Trump hat

A registered Democrat and CAIR follower? I wonder how much impact and influence the father actually had. Might be a combination of all of it.

Peter King bought up the idea of a connection and concern of Ramadan and violence. Spencer made the same connection yesterday in regards.
Islamic State spokesman Abu Mohammad al-Adnani recently called on Muslims to “get prepared, be ready … to make it a month of calamity everywhere for nonbelievers…especially for the fighters and supporters of the caliphate in Europe and America.”
We tried to sound a warning on this, and were vilified for doing so. When AFDI ran ads highlighting the mistreatment of gays in Islamic law, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, which is its city council, issued a resolution condemning not that mistreatment, but our ads. Gay advocates such as Theresa Sparks and Chris Stedman attacked us for daring to call attention to the institutionalized mistreatment of gays under Islamic law. Their gay advocacy doesn’t extend to standing up to Sharia oppression of gays, even though that oppression is far more virulent and violent than anything from “right-wing extremists” in the U.S. And you can’t blame them: given the Leftist/jihadist alliance, it’s clear that if they spoke out against Sharia mistreatment of gays, they would no longer be invited to the best parties, and might even be branded as “right-wing.” Their moral cowardice and duplicity, however, are obvious, and monstrous in the light of what has just happened in Orlando.
Will gay leadership wake up to the jihad threat now? Probably not. Instead, they will issue a call for gun control and a declaration of solidarity with Muslims who are experiencing backlash, and leave it at that.

Right, we can’t tell if Mateen was mentally competent, but all I was doing was providing an example of someone who would say he killed for Christ.

A tweet from Donald Trump:
appreciate the congrats for being right on radical Islamic terrorism.
As we all know, everything is about Donald, never about anyone else, certainly not about the victims of the tragedy in Orlando. If he can score political points in the midst of this, he’ll do it.

Maybe he’s just not letting an opportunity go to waste. Sound familiar?

Sometimes political points need to be made. Obama wasted no time in attributing this event to “hatred” (as in “hate crime”) and guns. It’s madness to imagine that this event was about “homophobia”. Hatred of homosexuals is only one part of a broader Sharia-based ideology. San Bernardino was in no way about homosexuality. It was about “infidels”. Homosexuals are only one kind of “infidel”.

An armed, trained civilian among the prospective victims would have gone a lot farther toward bringing this particular shooting to a quick end than “strict gun laws” would have. Oh, wait, Pulse was already a gun-free zone, wasn’t it? And I’ll bet that Mateen was well aware of that.

There are no special licenses needed to carry a rifle, which is what Mateen’s AR-15 was. Carrying it hidden (like, for example under a trench coat) would have brought it under the same laws as those covering carrying a concealed pistol. It is my understanding that he had a Florida concealed-carry permit.

For the record, there is no generally accepted definition of what constituted an “assault weapon.” The AR-15 is a legal semi-automatic rifle. “Assault” is a verb, defining what one does with a weapon. It can be applied to an AR-15; it can also be applied to a single-shot .22 rifle.
Thanks for the information about licenses and rifles. But do you really think that if people at the club were armed, the number of casualties would have been different, given the loud music, which caused some to misidentify the gunshots, the darkness, the probability that some people were drunk, and the overall confusion? It sounds to me like a recipe for a lot of friendly fire. Of course we will never know for sure.

Push comes to shove, the left will always stick with Muslims even over the gays.
Gays themselves will find somehow turn it towards the homophobia of Christians, and not hold Islam to account in any way, shape or form.
It wlll take a lot more than a shooting in a gay nightclub and twenty dead for the left to change their agenda.
I don’t know if that’s the case.

A lot of thoughtful gay people may learn from this that Islam is not a friend to them, and that unrestricted immigration of Islamic people whose background can’t be vetted is creating a climate where their physical safety is endangered. I would presume that the gay media have reported on the rampant hate crimes against gays in Europe by Islamic immigrants, as well as the horrifying public executions of gay people by ISIS. The hate crimes that have become common in Europe may become common here as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if that translates into some covert support for Trump in the voting booth.

If what we do in the dark tells us who really are, then what we do in the privacy of the polling booth may tell us what we really think.

If the security guards there had been armed, they would have had a tactical advantage against the gunman in knowing the layout of the club much better (whereas the gunman would have had at best only a cursory knowledge), knowing positions of cover and concealment, and being used to operating in the deafening, disorienting barrage of music and lights that exist in a disco/nightclub.

Leviticus 20:13: “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death; their blood is upon them.”
Not a recommended behavior; no doubt about that! But, as always, such statements from the Torah must be interpreted in light of the Oral Law, which fills in the details regarding such things as the high threshold for executing the sentence, why the law is in place with regard to pagan practices of Canaanites as well as Egyptians, what the prevalence of male homosexual behavior among Jews actually was at the time, how homosexuality is defined with regard to relatives and strangers, and other important items. I guess most Fundamentalist Christians are not experts with regard to the Oral Law of Judaism. No Orthodox rabbi of the modern era (dating back to Maimonides), that I know of, would advocate for the death penalty concerning homosexual behavior. Further, one is never to be ousted from the Jewish community for such behavior. According to Jewish teaching, some of us are more righteous than others, but all are members of the fold. And–this may seem surprising–we are all given to sexual behavior of various forms according to our good and bad inclinations. As in Christianity, it is the illicit behavior that is forbidden, not the person.

The trouble, of course, is that Mateen was a US-born citizen. He wasn’t a recent immigrant who might be affected by the immigration policy of the next President. What’s interesting to me is that this man, who has a violent history and was questioned by the FBI about ISIS, worked as an armed security guard and legally owned weapons that could murder 50 people. I find this incredibly odd.
