How is it that the Republicans ended up with Mitt?
Couldn’t do any better? Really?
He is better, vastly so, than the current occupant in the White House. It will be a long time
before we have the “perfect” candidate. Even then, it would not be unanimous. Someone
would disagree. Even Jesus knew that all would not recognize him as the Savior and we
know He is not running.

Why is it not logical? Obama campaign has spent $19.9 million on polling

Let me predict that if I say yes will say you will save my message so if November 6th Obama wins you can post it and say I was wrong

I think Romney is a in a better position to win, but in 39 days anything can happen, and the debates will be important, they could swing the election
Oh I wouldn’t save your message because you haven’t sated as others have “Romney will definitely win by a wide margin”. You don’t seem to be so forward about it.

Not it is not logical to question Obama’s campaign for spend massive resources in ensuring that he retain a lead in OH- which no Candidate for President has ever won without. That is precisely what they should be doing.

Liberal group Third Way found republicans increased by 20000 since 2008, democrats declined by 20000

Republicans lost 180000 voters since 2008, democrats lost voters 350000 in Pennsylvania

Ohio has lost 500000 since 2008, most in Cuyahoga County which is heavily democrat

Combine that with the fact that cbs/ny times who predicts a larger democrat turn out than in 2008 for FL and OH and PA, says republican enthusiasm is 20 points higher than democrats in PA, FL republcians have 4 point advantage, republicans have 10 point advantage in OH

Excuse me if I do not take the polls at face value 🤷

🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

It’s OH and FL that matter and Romney is very behind in both.

A Candidate has never won without winning OH and mitt is 10 points behind.
In polls…it isn’t a “race,” where you increase your lead and race toward the finish line. There is one vote…in November. Where they poll today is irrelevant.

The funny thing about the debates is NO MATTER how they play out, Conservatives will say that Romney won them.

Not this liberal- but I am no ideologue. If Romney seems to have done better in a debate, I would certainly acknowledge this.

I don’t alter my perception or presentation of reality to further an agenda. Not saying you do either, but some here are and will continue to. 🙂

Poll details: Obama 47%, Romney 48%. Second, Romney 48%, Obama 47%. Poll is based on blend of 2004 and 2008 turn out
recent polls showing a double-digit lead for Obama are not believable, and are probably using the 2008 voter turnout as the basis of their survey model. It is simply unrealistic to think Obama can or will win the Keystone State by the same double-digit margin he won by four years ago when you consider that most state and national polls continue to show most voters unhappy with the direction of the country after two straight years of unemployment at 8% or higher. This is why our statewide polls conducted every month since the primaries shows the President failing to hit fifty percent in most key measurements like favorable name ID, job approval and his ballot score. Plus, polling we have conducted in dozens of state senate and house races on behalf of incumbent legislators and other candidates, PACs and other special interest groups shows Obama’s support down an average of seven percent when compared with his vote margins in these same districts four years ago. We estimate this 7-point drop off could mean up to 434,000 fewer votes cast for Obama this November, leaving a margin of less than 200,000 votes between the candidates. Based on this, perhaps the Phil’ Inquirer poll showing Obama winning by a bigger margin than he won by four years ago is the real outlier
For these reasons and others we fully stand by our results, and all indications are that the upcoming election will be closer than many others suggest

That’s not the point - what individuals on CAF will do or others. The point is the mainstream media which is in the tank for Obama will favor him after the debates. If Obama loses, they will still find something from Romney they can use to make it the narrative after the debate. Just like they do with the middeast - Obama backpeddles - “the attack was because of the video…no, it was premeditated…but let’s talk about the video some more…my foreign policy is a success because I’ve defeated Al qaeda…wait, the attack was likely from al quaeda…” He has been all over the map on this - a Republican president doing this would be roundly criticized for doing the same things, but the MSM protects their own.

So its not being an ideologue to say that even if Romney defeats Obama, the media will twist it into an Obama victory.

Of course the media will bolster Obama regardless of how he performs in the debates. Media bias is so pro-Obama it makes me nauseous. Romney must fight the Obama campaign, Democratic and liberal super-pacs AND the mainstream media. Tough battle.

I just thought I would reply to your sweeping generalization of what “Conservatives” would do with an equally sweeping generalization of “Liberals.” 🤷

You see. You are already setting yourself up to state what you already know you will state.

That’s an ideologue.
Stating that the MSM is in the tank for Obama and will likely feel a “tingle up their leg” isn’t being an ideologue. It is recognizing reality…that most of our “journalists” are left-wing ideologues…
