Not exactly.
When people have less.education ,live in poverty , and are excluded.from whatever system ,they become more vulnerable. And prey for predators such as ISIS.
I see how your country or mine live peacefully in religious diversity .
There is no religious diversity under Islam even in peaceful countries. Try taking a bible to Saudi Arabia or preaching on a street corner in Pakistan.

It reflects a desire to avoid examination of the pathologies of the Middle East including, principally, Islam. Islam is not merely theological.
You have no idea what the Holy Father has examined. As to what he desires, he have never said he wanted to avoid examining anything. What an assumption!

His comments on the refugee crisis is easy to understand from a much simple and more Christ-like motive of simply caring for those in need.

You don’t need to speculate on the cause for that. Here are some refugees, help them out. See how simple that is?

Ok. Then why don t you there have fundamentalists all over you ? Religions co exist . Why is there no violence ?
Here we have large Christian ,Jewish ,Muslim cimmunities and we live side by side peacefully and we have.no Islam troubles. Why ?

That is not my point.
Try and look at persons with human eyes. Not that you don t , please…
Our Church has sheltered us a great deal in difficult times.Even in practical terms ,basic needs ,notnas an ONG but as Mother.
Who shelters the excluded in M E ?
As I noted above, asking people to shelter refugees requires no excursion int causes.

I appreciate your attempt to answer. Really. I am not making myself clear probably.
Which do you think most concerns Pope Francis? That some supposedly worship money or that many actually worship Allah?

I do not know but what he says.
As a mother I would hug my wounded children first.,and address root causes for such a battle.
I see.no evidence in my country that any of the.religions that coexist.wish to harm.each other. You love a friend cause he/ she is your.friend.
But I have seen corrupt ,extremist and like manipulate the vulnerable. And it is painful. That is when our bonds prevail and God is so good.

I saw some evidence on 9/11 that not all religions are peaceful and want to coexist.

As a mother would you welcome a wounded lion into your home?

No. I take care of my children. But I.do not see.lions in every four footed created being.Be strong. You are strong.
The Pope himself warned about infiltration with refugees.
We do not "chew glass "( that is Spanglish : we are not that naive).
And we.were brokenhearted at 9/11. As every person of good will.

Where are the data and facts to support this? Without them, it is only rhetoric.
“It shows that in 1896, income per person in the United States and Argentina, two of the richest countries in the world, was about identical. Argentina subsequently eschewed the free market, replacing it with trade protectionism and other corporatist policies intended to help the poor by redistributing wealth. By 2010, Argentine income was a third of that of the United States.”

bro you just skipped 100 years of history which included the American Great Depression. brought upon by unbridled capitalism and a world without Anti-Trust Laws.

If we look at what the Catholic Church has taught us about the latter, it is pretty undeniable that the worship of Allah is much closer to our own worship than the worship of money, which is really just worship of one’s self.

“Those who fail to learn from history are destined to repeat it” assumes that one must first know some history. I fear our public schools have left too many ignorant of history.

You’re right, Income Inequality is great. I love our new multi-national corporation overlords, without them, who would pay for the elections?!

Bro, if you had bothered to look at the link you would have noticed that period covered and fully accounted for in the comparison.

A couple things worth noting. First, the accusation of worshipping money is just that, an rhetorical accusation and an uncharitable one at that since nobody actually identifies as money worshippers unlike Miluslims who affirmatively worship Allah. The second interesting thing is this: the accusation is by way of comparison to prohibitations against worshiping idols and following false religions, something that was a real in the OT. But now some clever theologians have decided that actual idol worship and false religion is ok, it’s the analogous money worship that is truly sinful.nif only the worshipers of Baal had been as clever as Muslims maybe they could have gotten a pass too. Up is down and black is white.

But seriously the chart fails to take into account the numerous military coups, Peronism, and the “dirty war” against anyone having a socialist thought in the 1980s which resulted in 22,000 people “disappearing”

But its a cool graph that is a sneaky dis at the Pope’s grasp on economics and morality.

Uh, bro, are you seriously suggesting that Argentina deserves a handicap for its uncivility?
